This is a step in the right direction, because it's necessary in order to run online tournaments. However, we still need pre-Sun & Moon cards to be implemented in the game in order to play true Expanded, so I hope we'll get them soon!

NEW: "Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," per new House Judiciary Dem report. Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old and then promised the victim a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.

Top 4 in the Lumiose Tour finals! I hesitated between Gardevoir and Dusknoir Spread, but I was more confident I'd play Gardevoir right, and I thought I'd have more fun! It was a good call into various decks I expected people to play vs Regidrago (like Shadow Rider).

The Drago matchup itself is not easy but definitely ok, unfortunately I got destroyed in top 4. We played open decklists and my opponent's decklist was oriented towards going 1st so I chose to go first both games, but drew poorly and got hit with turn 1 Dragon Laser twice. I probably overthought it.

In any case I had a lot of fun and it was great to have people coming from all over the country to play Expanded. Huge thanks to Tofopolis for agreeing to host the tournament at the last minute, and congrats to Antoine "vegetarsal" Fichefet on the win!

The Expanded stream is back for round 5 with Regidrago vs Dragon Lugia!

The Lumiose Tour final event is underway! 17 players who qualified in Expanded events in France this summer are gathered for a final event to find out who is this year's Expanded champion. Round 1 is finishing and there will be a stream starting next round!

In addition to being relevant in Standard, this card is going to be extremely good in Expanded! Shadow Rider and Gardevoir are already very good decks and now they get another excellent tech for Regidrago, which is also relevant against other Special Energy decks.

After some deliberation, I've decided not to attend Gdansk regionals in two weeks, both because I need some time after my poor performance in Nice, and for other personal reasons (nothing bad, no worries). I'll use the next four weeks to prepare for Delta Reign format (LAIC + Stuttgart).

But before that, next weekend is the finals of the Lumiose Tour, the French grassroots Expanded circuit! Most of the 21 players who qualified over various events, plus last year's champion, this summer will be attending for cool prizes and bragging rights. I can't wait :)

82nd/2336 in the Nice Regionals! I've been in a bit of a slump at the start of this season, and @lubyllule.bsky.social recommended I just take it easy, play something fun, and touch grass. So I did just that! 🫒🍃 This is the exact winning list from Recife, and every matchup was new for me +80CP! 🇸🇬

7. Stand-in for the Inteleon engine, which I loved and used in various decks for several strong results, notably winning Lille 2022 8. Card whose design I love. Won Bochum 2020 with it 9. Stand-in for old Gardevoir ex decks, most notably the NAIC 2024 version. 3rd "discard 1 draw 2" in the list!

"Wait, Drizzile and Green's Exploration are not in chronological order, they should be switched around" No, this was obviously done on purpose to give a symmetrical pattern to the Water Pokémon, and is not at all a mistake I just noticed and don't care about fixing.

1. The deck I played for most of my first competitive season (2010-11) 2. My first victory at an international competition (Prague Cup 2011, 135 players, which was big at the time), where I felt my hard work on a deck had paid off 3. My on-and-off obsession, 2012-2014 (and top 8 ECC 2014)

4. Card people didn't notice that I used to win my first Expanded tournament (Arena Cup Salzburg, 2015) 5. I won two ICs with this card and became internationally recognized 6. Star of my NAIC 2019 deck, I kept having to explain how good it was. Almost got a Dewgong tattoo because of it

The Frankfurt post-event survey sent by TPCI has a question about how we would like incomplete TCG games to be resolved, and I'm going crazy because I don't understand the difference between options 1 and 2. Please note that this is about resolving a *Game*, not a *Match*.

By the way, the Pokémon TCG Tournament Handbook uses this table to explain what the result of a bo3 is. There is no mention of individual games being draws or double losses.

To make it even more confusing, the question is asked in a very formal way, using caps for official terms like Game and Match. But then option 1 says "Current Match Resolution", when the question and all the other answers are about resolving a Game, not a Match. Is it a mistake?

Option 1 is what we have now: if a game is not finished, it counts as a draw. Option 2 would change that to "that game is a loss for both players". But what's the difference? In both cases, if it's game 1 or 3 then the match is a tie, if it's game 2 then winner of game 1 wins the match, no?
