✍️ Just published a new post about my most-anticipated CSS proposals from Interop 2027! If you’re not familiar, the Interop project is a collaboration between browsers to pick shared focus areas. There’s *so much* good stuff this year, it was hard to pick just 10!

joshwcomeau.comThe Future of CSS ✨ • Josh W. ComeauEvery year, browser vendors collaborate via the Interop project to synchronize their efforts on new HTML/CSS/JS features. This year, there’s a ton of super exciting features being considered! In this ...

🤔 So if you were ever wondering how is to have a lighter bike, I'd recommend one-day fasting. ❌🍕 5th week in a row I'm fasting on Saturdays. 🚴‍♂️ The morning Sunday ride after that is just insane. The dropped weight (small, but still) is so noticeable, especially on climbs. ⛰️

Everyone's crying over the Ciccone, but what Remco did on the final 200 meters was just out of the galactic. It's fair to say that he deserved this win definitely.

🧠 It might be not so obvious at first, but inform your agent what you've changed and what was the intention, analyse potential update, ask to not change back.

Introducing 📦upm: 🪶A fast, tiny package manager for the npm registry. ✨Written in TypeScript, it installs at native-class speed and has a JS API, at a fraction of the size of native tools. 🤝Compatible with your existing .npmrc and lockfiles. 👉 Try at upm.sh

I might be a little late to the party, but after switching to @nuxt_js 4.5 starting the app is so fast; and it's a quite big one; builds are also super fast with a rolldown on board ⚡

📣 They announced this during the last tour, and it’s finally here! The new track from Australian metalcore band Polaris has just been released. “Without You” brings the band’s well-known style, free of any technical surprises - fast, melodic, everything we know and love about Polaris. 🎸

⌛️ After 7 long years, Australian Ocean Sleeper returns with a new LP. 🎸 It’s noticeably heavier and darker, filled with complex structures, unexpected bridges, tempo changes, and a great variety of patterns. A super-solid composition of melody-driven metalcore tracks with plenty dynamics.

So I'm paying too much for AI - decided to cancel the CGPT Premium. After uploading two photos I'm getting this... at least they left Projects 🤷‍♂️ 😅

Wow! These are incredible numbers! 🤩

I love the iOS 27 beta. It feels *more* stable, despite being a beta, while looking crisper and more polished at the same time. I'm glad that they deprioritized adding new features and focused on making the experience very high-quality.

In iOS 27, Liquid Glass now adapts better to the colors behind it instead of always showing a darker tint.

While writing docs - Markdown in particular- it's funny how #AI autocomplete makes irrational sentences, even when you have whole page docs wrote by the human. Try with Cursor. 👍 It's hard to believe in tools where AI writes the whole docs ...
