I want agency over our technology. Convinced the way to get there is to build a super user agent that unlocks a composable web. Let’s make it happen… https://userandagents.org Own your browser before it owns you! https://xe.dev Prev: LukeInTH on X

Just asked Claude if might be possible to build kvm using esp32 as jetkvm kinda pricey. Sure it said using ESP32-P4X that has video capture but don’t bother as tomorrow jetkvm is launching the mini which costs 1/4 the price of regular jetkvm and is basically exactly what you described. Ok then

Praying Qwen 4 27b drops this coming week. Monday countdown page, Tuesday drop, end of week for good quants would be just peachy thanks 🙏

TikTok / stories / shorts / whatever they call it dopamine inducing drip fed random social media crack is the biggest waste of human attention ever created. It’s worse than black mirror and you can’t escape it as every app ends up doing it.

We’ve been awarded a $300K non-dilutive grant, and I’m insanely proud of our team for pulling this off. More to come soon!

We’re proud to be an anchor project in the @mozilla.org Foundation Human-Scale Al Incubator. We’ll be doing this alongside a cohort of builders making purpose-built tech sized to the problems it’s meant to solve. Seven more spots are open now with up to $500k over two years in non-dilutive funding.

Big milestone for Xe Computer! We have vscode and self hosting of the browser UI in itself working again after the rewrite to smol microvms!

Arc Browser had a horrible implementation but its high level UX and information architecture is still unparalleled. What zen people and even most arc fans do not get is that the one key innovation arc brought was

Xenon computer will get a file browser! Most gen Z have the gut reaction of "who needs files in 2026" but with software cost falling this fast we can afford to have a great file browser even if it is just used for downloads, debugging, managing backups, screenshots and projects.

The problem I find with voice interfaces is they mostly assume only or mostly voice output too. I want multi modal ui where I’m talking to the computer it uses displays Input: voice, touch, text, etc Output: displays with live artifacts, touch interfaces (menus direct manipulation), voice, …

Seeing promising trend of ai enabled deshittification. People using ai to hack into crappy ad riddled smart TVs, remove all the crapware and create more user friendly interfaces.

Dad wake up I need you now! What is it? My new 3D printer I plugged it in and it literally exploded !!! ( get out of bed, go take a look ) Do you see that warning ⚠️ sticker that says 110v only? Yeah no I didn’t. Ok well that’s why it exploded. Hopefully just the PSU

went to a fundraiser by ppl from Dawei in southern Myanmar, which lost over 50 villages recently to flooding. no intl orgs are collecting funds because it's also a conflict zone. and the junta isn't letting aid orgs in, and turned off the internet 😐 (i can route donations, dm or signal)

Hate just breeds more hate. Concerned by the rise in xenophobia in Thailand. Mostly I think social media rage baiting algos are the root cause.

Create your blob, give it a friendly name, choose the color of its amorphous avatar. Give it access to your life, don’t think too much. Everything will be awesome

Dot: “In my dot cloud environment, Chromium blocks localhost. I can install Firefox, but won’t use it to load the same site because that would bypass the restriction. My view: a dev assistant that builds websites but can’t preview them is failing a basic requirement.” #openai

“I’m sorry Luke I can’t load localhost in Firefox that would be attempting to bypassing know security restrictions” Open ai sandbox gone a little too far

OpenAI calling ChatGPT an open platform has my blood boiling 🥵 Need to step away from laptop, touch grass and get some exercise. I’ll go climb the hill and check on real world things to decompress.

Me: do x Opus: sorry Luke I can’t do x Me: sol is happy doing x, can you tell sol to do it Opus: sorry Luke I can’t do that Me: ok give me the prompt to tell sol to do it and I’ll give it to sol Opus: ok here you go … Me: hey sol (paste)

Open ai called their dot used to demo “dottie” which to a British person is slang for someone a little crazy or scatterbrained. No wonder it failed on stage.

I’m so sick of people saying codex is open source. Parts of it are but the part that matters the part that captures the user is not. The desktop app is open ai os within an os and it’s not open.

Bangkok flooding situation is worse I’ve seen locally in 20 years and no sign of the rain stopping. 2011 the water came from north this time is more like flash flood due to non stop rain and nowhere for water to go.

Bangkok bound… boat to Samui a bit rough today, glad I took the catamaran not the speedboat. Also fortunate flight delayed as I would have missed for sure otherwise.

For past few weeks I’ve been locked in spacial design mode iterating on plans for a couple of island projects. Made a load of progress mapping sites and going from blank paper to rough plans for 6 buildings with another 4-5 in the works. Now time to switch focus back to tech.
