Turns out Red Alert 2 works just fine on Windows 10 through EA Origin, and I've been blitzing through the Soviet campaign all morning! Red Alert 2 was my first ever RTS and I instantly fell in love with the FMV cutscenes, the unit design and voice lines, the aesthetic, it's just perfect~ Best game!

Oh and for reference, 10kwh battery, 6+kwh system (but my roofline is shithouse, North & East & West panels, so peak generation is only 4.5kwh) Heating and cooling is both ducted AC (or an oil heater in my office), and hot water is instant gas (but not for long~)

Australians: With summer coming up it's a good time to clean out your PCs! Clean the filters, blow out the insides with compressed air, get all the dust out so that they stay cooler in high temperatures: They'll live longer and run quieter!

Just be sure not to let the fans rotate while you blow air on them! It can turn the motor into a generator and put volts back into the motherboard, not good for it. Just hold the fans still while you clean them, or use a toothpick to hold the PSU fan still through the grill.

If we go by official runtime, it would take 9.78 hours, lmao. Can probably trim the credits out of that to get it down to around 9 hours, but if I wanted to do this on Saturday and also go to Luna Dark that evening, I'd have to start the screening at... 7am πŸ˜† SO WHO'S IN??

Never ever ever buy a USB borescope that plugs into your phone. They're all the fucking same. They work about 10 times, and then the connector starts to go to shit, and you have to wobble them or weigh them down to get a connection. Eventually they don't work at all. Fucking useless, all 4 I tried.

For the price of buying these flimsy pieces of crap over and over, I'd have been a decent way towards paying for a proper borescope with its own little screen and a proper wired cable that won't shit itself because you dared to plug and unplug it a dozen times over three years. Buy once, cry once.
