Republicans in Congress rammed through Trump's billionaire tax scam, which slashes trillions of dollars from Medicaid and SNAP to pay for $4.5 trillion in tax breaks for the ultra-rich. That the current administration has abandoned working families is being felt across Jefferson County. Need is up and food bank supplies are way down. Let's help by bringing a non-expired can of shelf-stable food for the Jefferson County Food Bank. This a local Indivisible event! Parking at the Haines Street Park and Ride is recommended. A food bank truck will be collecting donations in the Safeway Parking lot intersection at Sims Way. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
