D.C. United wants the city to pitch in $300 million to help add 8,000 seats and a roof on Audi Field, saying it would expand the number of events there. Critics say it's an unnecessary public subsidy, and the Washington Spirit is an X factor in the debate: www.washingtonsun.com/metro/audi-f...

Fellas is it a real attendance record when you don’t put it on your social media because you know it won’t go over well.

Go Royals Go Wave (And as always, Go Spirit)

I think I want Gotham to lose the shield even more than I want home field advantage for us (bc idk if it would help us anyways lol)

Pls do not mention the Boston-Spirit game I am fragile

@ Mel B this would be a great time for some spice

Monday minutes 🙂

Not now, Boston. 😒

San Diego, I am watching and appreciating

I’m sure we’ll never know the full story but I will always be curious about a certain midfielder leaving

When you’re used to watching soccer, NFL games seem to take forever

Earlier in the season I did say that perhaps we need to be a lower seed going into the playoffs since being #2 didn’t work the last two years. So that thought is still giving me hope.

Go SD I guess

Less upset about the loss than the way we played, especially based on posts from those who watched the whole game.

I expected more than six minutes of stoppage time

Feels like we have the momentum to score but absolutely cannot give one up to them

I’d said third time’s a charm for a Trin goal but the the third chance since I’ve been watching just happened 🙁

Trin 😭😭

If the league keeps track of attendance records, feels like they shouldn’t count this one. But that would also be expecting a lot.

That was a very close and scary chance

I am watching the second half, so hopefully I’ll bring good vibes ✨

I was just going to ask the rundown on the first half bc I wasn’t home. Here’s my answer. 😬

7 years in college football is crazy

Checked in on the NWSL and saw brag Denver scored SIX goals?!

I am going to need Rose healthy for qualifiers though

Didn’t watch AWFC this morning bc I had adulting things to do but I did wear my Arsenal hoodie while doing said things

Still recovering from a very stressful evening taking my dog and anxious cat to the vet at the same time 😩😩

Guys I found out the news through this meme on Instagram 😆

I have only seen clips of that podcast interview from Tik Tok but this comment took me out. 💀 Alex asked “Why was this something you wanted to keep quiet at first?”

I took the TWG quiz and tried to get the Spirit as my team. Got KC instead.

Me every time someone is referred to as “former US Soccer star”

Aww the cast of 10 Things I Hate About You ❤️

Amber and her sister 🥹 Dedication night has me in my feels!

I need Ezra and Dani to win it all

“Val is not with us tonight” I guess that’s all they’re saying on THAT
