the problem with these discord status prompts is I'd be answering a question no one else can see. and that sucks because they're usually pretty fun prompts. it's like if I tweeted the word "Minecraft" with no context.

really good feeling to come up with lyrics to a song while at work, get the chance to quickly record them on your phone, listen back on the way home and go "whoa this actually has a lot of potential... I need to make a full version of this"

So one of the apps I can't install with my new privacy-focused OS is my bank app, which wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I can't even use the website for it without authenticating with the app. So I'm completely locked out without it. Guess I'm reinstalling stock android.

GrapheneOS is pretty cool ngl. minor issues here & there, due to Google being declawed and put in a little corner where it has nearly no control over my phone, so there's a couple apps i can't install (like.. Subway?? lol no clue why) but otherwise it's normal android but with extra privacy controls

I've actually really enjoyed spending the evening installing extensions and hacks to make the free version of YouTube even more enjoyable than what Premium offered me, tbh. I'm also looking into total replacements for pretty much everything else right now. Email, note taking apps, cloud storage, etc

Not to simp for the corporation or anything but I'm personally not upset about there being no disk in the box. It would be a waste of materials. They're not going to fit the entire game on a single Blu-ray. Also I know 80 dollars stings but realistically, AAA games couldn't stay at 60 bucks forever.

just discovered the existence AND tragic fate of "Recovery of an MMO Junkie", a manga that sounds right up my alley but was abruptly cancelled with no conclusion to the story.... i feel like i've just watched a stranger be hit by a car... i didn't know you, but i mourn you deeply...

Well, it's been a long journey, but I finally got my first mastery on RetroAchievements: Dragon Quest VIII for PS2. My favorite game of all time is always fun to revisit, but this has been a uniquely rewarding experience and I'll never forget it.
