Hmmmm, it’s £26 for a fence panel and £14 to trim it to size. I’ve just suggested to Mrs KPH I buy the panel and cut it myself. Apparently “you’ll ruin it!” 🤔 I’m sure I can take the edging off, trim it, and pop it back on!

Oddly, a parcel delivery defaulted to one of those In-Post collection point thingies. First time using one and quite easy really. Luckily, it was the one at the cricket club around the corner, so easy parking,

This just arrived, looking forward to giving it a go, maybe later today. Very light, very compact, and well under half the price of the Garmen. Works via RADAR.

A productive day. Dropped Mrs KPH off at college; Called bullion dealer to sell my silver, set off; Stopped off for a distressed women, called police, monitored suspect until they arrived; Picked Mrs KPH up from college; Spend a chunk of the pennies from the silver sale.

Apple Watch charger stopped working. Quick check shows an internal snapped off, due to the charge end being free to rotate around the cable. Quick fix.

Now charging nicely. I added some super glue to stop it rotating in the future. Also have a new cable on order as a back up. 👍

A bit of a sollum day today. Not sure why, but last night somebody’s name came into my head, so I did a quick online search. As soon as I read the first post (Wikip) which said “was” I went awww. The person in question is (was) Walter Kershaw, often referred to as the original Banksy.

I first met Walter a number of years ago, as he ended up in the same care home as my uncle. We had many a chat over the year or so. He was a very eccentric and larger than life character, admittedly straying from the straight and narrow on occasion. I asked him if he minded if I took a picture.

He nodded, then settled into a pose. It was on the 6th of September 2026 he left this mortal world. I hope he is now at peace and his soul is at rest. Rest in peace Walter, you were one of a kind! 🕯️🙏🕯️

Tesco are becoming a bit ridiculous. Got an 8p/l off voucher, yet the local petrol station is being refurbed. Went to the next nearest, and despite having a shop at the station, all were pay at pump only. Voucher is only redeemable over the counter. £30 for just under 15 litres.

A couple of classics today, including a 1984 BSA Super Meteor and a not the best named Crosman ‘Rat Catcher”. Things have moved on greatly and the C9O2/PCP giuns are effortless to load. The mid powered BSA was fatiguing.

Well bollocks. Just thought I’d make use of the weather and grind away at some of the tree stumps. Angle grinder has just burnt itself out. Only a cheap 4 1/2” Clarke, but obviously no overload or thermal protection. Looks like a change in tact is needed.

Today is Stoma Awareness Day. Part of the healing/acceptance process is sharing a story. This can often put you outside your comfort zone, but it does help. This is the picture I submitted. I had the security attack dog with me in case I got mobbed by fans! Be the light that people need!

Solar panel installed to rear camera. Not an offical Ring one, but this was more than half price. Camera has detected it and is charging. Battery was on 90% when installed. Usually lasts around 3 months stand alone.

The time on my PC has been way off, at boot up, for some time. I checked all the settings, but they were spot on. On a net, a few weeks ago, G6RSU suggested an MB battery swap. Just swapped it now and kerching! Old battery (CR2032) was reading 0.06v.

I really don’t know how companies like Sky fell that putting their prices up by over 20% is a good deal. Even more frustrating is that rental prices are a lot more than new customers prices, something I thought had been outlawed some time ago.

EBay emailed to say they have reviewed my case and found in favour of the seller, in that they provided evidence of delivery. They didn’t! All they produced was a text based timeline saying so. They did say they had sent me a link to the delivery photo. However, this just pointed at the 1/n

as delivered, which doesn’t mean they have been. In conclusion, prove delivery or refund me! After a moment she said she would refun. This is the refund tex:- After reviewing the details, we've changed the outcome of this request. 4/n

As a result, we decided to issue you a refund. We changed the outcome because we determined that the item was stolen after delivery. Not true. However, a refund is a refund! 5/5

text based timeline! I hit the appeal button a requested a call back, which I promptly got. I had sent a copy of my CCTV menu showing activations around the supposed delivery time, for which there were none. I asked the caller if they had access to these - they said yes. 2/n

I asked if they could see a photo of the delivery. They didn't acknowledge if they could or couldn’t. I then said if they could, then they could clearly see the so called delivery didn’t match our driveway, and that the delivery driver could easily sit in a car park and nark all parcels 3/n
