#Hadestown was absolutely amazing. Fantastic music. Powerful story. Time and time again, I keep experiencing stories that express how important hope is, as well as the immortality of story that binds one another together through time and space.

I'm gonna talk a bit about #Supergirl and why it's a good and important movie. If you don't want spoilers, feel free to ignore for the time being. This story addresses trauma and the need for finding your community, your people, your home. Kara is

This was also a great conversation to have with the boys. Kara's father, Zor-El, tells her, "You matter. You are your mother's life. You are my life. You are our souls unfolding into the future." Typically, women are not viewed through a lense of being the legacy of their families.

There is a massive difference between being nice and being good. And how often are girls in particular told, "Be nice. Be polite. Smile"? Being good is important. I want my children to be good people who care about others. This story created a great opening way to discuss niceness vs goodness

with our boys. There's also a lot of discussion around justice, mercy, and revenge. Does the bad guy deserve to die for what he's done? If so, does it matter who kills him? If not, what's the alternative option to take so that he doesn't continue doing evil?

someone who literally lost her whole world as a teenager. She is in a rough place, so she doesn't always make great choices. Some people will look at that and condemn her for her actions, probably because she's a woman, while those same people would celebrate a man doing the

same things and acting the same way. Think about how many stories have the grumpy old guy begrudgingly helping the kid? Those stories are celebrated. However, this is different because a woman is the grumpy one. Kara's mother Alura tells her, "You don't have to be nice, but I need you to be good."

Very much looking forward to this

After finishing the Astral Kingdoms, I wanted to write something much smaller, more intimate. Something where the stakes are personal and quiet compared to killing gods. I also wanted to make people cry. VOW OF ASHES, a novella of a dying woman and the vow she demands of her husband, is that book.

1. Twilight Princess 2. Ocarina of Time 3. Link to the Past

We're coming up on 40 years of The Legend of Zelda series, so we have to ask: What are your Top 3 favorite Zelda games? - Link's Awakening - Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

This one is hard. I think I've gotta go with FF7 Remake, but Hades and Last of Us Part 2 are close contenders

Quote this with what you would have said your game of the year was at the end of 2020, and what you would say your favourite game of 2020 is now, if it differs (I will count two-way ties for either answer) For a more comprehensive refresher than this grid: backloggd.com/games/lib/po...

While not taking the time to think/look through all the games released in 2019, I think I stick with Fire Emblem Three Houses. While not my favorite of the FE series, I still enjoyed it quite a bit

Hello! Today is my birthday 🎉🍰 Can I kindly ask for a RT as a gift today? It would mean the world if you could share my art ❤️ As always, thank you all who've supported my work. I apreciate all of your words, can't thank you enough! #dnd #art

#ThankyouDAdevs for so many years of amazing, powerful stories and memories. Each game and book holds a special place in my heart. From tattoos to running 2 Dragon Age campaigns spanning almost 7 years, the importance expanded beyond the games, and it's not an exaggeration to say DA changed my life.
