As someone who observes the USA from afar, I continue to encounter USians that are tRump supporters. I cannot reconcile his actions or those who voted for him. It sadly seems easier to just avoid “unknowns” than to risk yet another socially awkward moment. A volume knob by virtue of remoteness.

The USA is not solely risking a brain drain of visa holders (H-1B, etc.) due to fascism. Young, educated US citizens in the workforce have the one of the easiest means of emigrating. Many, driven by their political repugnance and/or self-preservation, aspire to do so. Education breeds enlightenment.

In case you were not there in early days of Twitter… DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO BLOCK LISTS. It sounds like a great shortcut, but malicious actors come in and create lists that include folks from our side. This was a huge problem in 2017 on Twitter. Just block trolls as they hit your feed.
