In 1956, less than a century ago, Utah became the last state to grand Native Americans the right to vote. Think about that. Take all the time you need.

Do you know where they came up with the data saying how much nutrition you need to survive? They did medical testing on Indigenous children held prisoner in church-run prison camps. They starved those kids practicallly to death to see what happened. This was going on in the late 20th century.

Until colonizers are finally able to admit wrongdoing and make steps to correct their actions, reconcilliation is impossible. Too many of them have made it painfully obvious that they'd turn right around and do it all over again if given a chance.

Explain this to me. How can there possibly be truth and reconcilation if the people who did it weren't taught the truth, haven't changed their behavior or way of thinking, and are convinced they did us a favor? Seeing some of their comments on social media makes me think they'd do it again.

They need to be held accountable for their crimes, forced to pay reparations, and then dissoled. If your belief system led to holocaust after holocaust, then it shoudn't exist.

It amazes me that people think they can find morality in such a vile and nasty book. Then again, looking at Christian history, it's no wonder they have so much blood on their hands.

The sad thing is that I can't share this song to some of the groups I belong to. Anything that makes colonizers feel uncomfortable about what they continue to do is labeled "personal politics".

What, exactly, were they trading? It sure the hell wasn't food or there would have been peppers, corn, potatoes., tomatoes, chocolate, and so many other kinds of food Natives grew growing in those places at the time of invasion. This just isn't so.

I think that Stephen King has a special hate on for Native people. 90% of his work has racist references to Native people or completely misonstrue Native cultures. It's like he's unaware of the racism he's pushing or unaware that Native people read his books.

I just had words with a local costume shop over its still having "Native American" costumes. I asked if they also had blackface because it's the same thing. It's mesed up potraying Native people alongisde dead cultures, mythological beings, and animals. America barely sees us as human as it is.

The last time I complained about it, I got this shit: "We also sell fat suits, but don't have fat people complaining about it", showing how willfully ignorant and clueless Americans are. Fuck their double standards when it comes to racism. They think it's okay as long as its targeting Natives.

I just saw a post saying that the colonists "won". What, exactly, did they win? They committed a holocaust and failed miserably to wipe us out. We're still here.

9/11 was the second time that America was attacked by religious extremists. The fist time, the death toll was at least 100 million. In many ways, that first attack never ended and continues to this day. The descendants of those extremists picked up the torch and carried on.

Credible evidence of human activity was found in California that's at least 130,000 years old. Human footprints found in White Sands, NM are 25,000 years old. Yet, scientific papers are still saying that humans didn't emerge from Africa until 50,000 years ago.

If humans originated in Africa and didn't leave until 50,000 years ago, there is no way in hell that there would be 130,000-year-old signs of human hunting activity in California. Yet, scientific papers are still using the outdated data. Why?

I read a paper from last year saying that humans didn't reach the Western Hemisphere until 15,000 years ago, totally disregarding new findings. Don't they pay attention? Seriously. It's ridiculous.
