First day back at work since May and finally got through the hundreds of emails that have accumulated in my inbox. I never want to open my email again

Got up at 4:30am to make birthday breakfast for my wonderful partner @alolanraichu.bsky.social before I drove her to work.

Stopped at Banff on the way home from fur-eh. Absolutely beautiful and amazing food.

I think every mosquito in Edmonton has bitten me. Never going outside again.

Arrived at Fur-Eh! Gotta love the hotel’s beautiful view of parking lots, other hotel, and a sea of shorter buildings lol

When it’s 31C and you get one iced coffee while eating and a second iced coffee for the road

Love when you utterly fail to estimate how much something will be once it’s cut up and end up with a metric fuckton of ham when you’re trying to make a meal

I just cleaned out my fridge and found condiments from 2024. The only reason I don’t have anything older is I moved in here in 2024. #unmedicatedADHDlife

100% didn’t just buy this because it looked pretty in the menu picture.

I’ve packed the essentials for car camping. Deflated air mattress and every blahaj I own plus a lemon shark.

I have indeed been dragged away from my cozy cat bed to come see the fine critters at Rubbout 2026. We’ve been around the event spreading the word of our new con wearing our brand new Tails of Summer promo shirts. Expect to see me at more events leading up to our con August 8-9, 2026.

Sometimes people are really sweet. I stopped for coffee on the way back and the barista was alone because everyone else called in sick and kept apologizing for taking so long and then thanked me for being chill by giving me a pack of her own snacks. I love when kindness is returned with kindness.

Gotta love waking up and making well intentioned but questionable decisions first thing in the morning. Like walking over 9km to breakfast despite it being pretty easily transit accessible and very easy to take my car too. At least it’s good exercise but now I’m tired and it’s not even 10am.

A big thanks to @vanhooverpe.bsky.social for starting off the con year well. It was fun being your reg lead and seeing a bunch of my friends on staff. Now sitting at my traditional post-con Bon’s breakfast I’m looking forward to my next con on the horizon @vancoufur.bsky.social!

When you go to work on convention stuff with your friend @shadowsmyst.bsky.social and end up discussing custom made leather gear and getting head scritches on the couch. This is the best way to do con work.

Got a gorgeous new tattoo today from an artist in Calgary. Like nearly all good things in Calgary the recommendation for the artist came from @emkat.co

Had myself a delicious coffee and breakfast sandwich at Aggüdo Coffee Roasters in Sunnyside this morning on the recommendation of my favourite local cat @emkat.co Now I’m getting ready to go get my first tattoo!

Finally got my @angypaws.com order on Christmas Eve and did a little unboxing video.
