I've been in the hospital several days and you know what makes a good hospital a great hospital? Not the doctors. It's the nurses and the pharmacists and the phlebotomists and the cleaning staff, to name a few. I have met some lovely people who are taking care of my most basic of needs who are ⭐⭐🩺.

I have questions. They offered me the opportunity to use the bathroom prior to my getting prepped for surgery, and I came across a sign that is disturbing in two ways; who puts their hand in a toilet and why are sharp objects built into them? Cutting up poop? I demand an answer!

One of my favorite words is "lalochezia." I practice this often. What does it mean, you ask? "The use of vulgar or foul language to relieve stress, tension, or physical pain." I am seriously thinking of making a t-shirt with this important dictionary entry.
