Voted today! YAY! Last evening, I learned that the cataract surgery I had all set up at a small surgical center for this coming Tuesday had to be cancelled. The Center has just received orders to close thanks to government cutbacks. You bet I voted just as Blue as possible today!

What does one do when pushed beyond bearing? My autistic younger daughter lost her home and long-term boyfriend to cancer in October. I live day to day facing my husband's death and my possible homelessness. Now my 33 year old older girl just got diagnosed with lung cancer. She has a five year old.

The lady st the dental clinic reception said that it had happened several times recently with seniors on the plan. They put me on a sliding fee scale unlike most dental providers, thank goodness. WHO ELSE IS TIRED OF BEING SCREWED OVER BY BILLIONAIRES?

Sneaky thieves! United Healthcare Medicare for dental has recently pulled a fast one. I went in to get a filling, and found my plan had been reduced to just preventative care!

I am severely depressed now that the killing bill has been passed. Crying all day. Trump and DOGE have made it almost impossible to get housing now for disabled and or elderly people. I made an A.I. art piece to show how many of us are feeling now. Being homeless is my worst fear...

UPDATE ON GRATITUDE. Thank you Habitat for Humanity and grateful for President Jimmy Carter's humanity. That major plumbing issue is to be fixed today. This old lady and sick hubby are happy to be getting water again soon. They also want to help repair our deteriorating deck for safety! ❤️
