I've written a whole outline in my head for a Michael Myers movie that's set during the events of Season of the Witch; he's stalking a young lady who works in the Silver Shamrock factory and she eventually finds out the secret about the masks and uses that to kill him on Halloween night.
(She learns about Silver Shamrock's secret when she's hiding from Michael; she breaks into an off-limits area and sees a secret diabolical meeting that's happening, Michael busts in and kills all those guys.)
(I had an idea for how Michael gets from Illinois to California; we see a fake ending of a previous movie where Loomis and the cops surround him at a railyard and they shoot him a bunch but he disappears; turns out he's hiding in a crate in a freight car.)

It's the lady's first day, in her training they showed her a machine that takes the new masks off of a head mold, she traps him in that, it unmasks/injures him, he panics / stomps around covering his face, he ends up in a storeroom with 100s of masks and puts one on, she points a tv at him, etc etc.
On the way to Michael Myers' padded cell, the famous criminal psychologist stops by my own, and glances in the window. "A sad case, really," the director of the institute says to him. "It seems he was 'scared stupid.'"
Coolest things French people have asked me about Halloween:
3. "Halloween, when is that, November?"
2. "Is everyone *required* to dress up?!"
1. "That thing where the kids knock on doors and get candy, that's not real, right?" "Yes, it is." "In AMERICA??????" (because we all shoot each other here)
My wife is like (frequently, year after year, for Halloween) "I'm going to be a mermaid witch" and I'm like (furious, raging) YOU CANNOT BE THAT, THAT IS NOT A THING, YOU CAN'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Slender Man. The Bloodsucker Proxy. No Country for Wolf Men. The Big Lugosi. Miller's Coffin. Impale Caesar! uh, FEARgo. uh, BLOOD simple. um, the LadyKILLERS. The Insides of Llewyn Davis?
Two years ago I decided, last minute, to make a Halloween mask in one day -- no sketching, no measuring, no ruler, just freestyle. I had some free time today, and I needed a costume for tonight, so I just did it again. It's pretty rough! But it was fun to work so loose!
With this devil mask I was totally sitting in a Lyft on my way to a show that night and embarrassed that it was making the car smell like spray paint and then I realized I had black acrylic paint all over my hands because the horns were still wet! I did better with the zombie mask; it's ready to go.
For reference this is more the style I usually go for; it takes literally ten times as much time/work and I really prefer the results. Tons of planning, drawing, measuring, obsessing, redoing things, etc.

Here's the one-day mask I made two years ago. I honestly don't totally love these! I prefer working with more precision and taking like literally a whole month to make a mask, and really focus on details, symmetry, smoothness, etc.
Mask 8/8. Painted highlights and shadows, added screen in eyes, Lacroix box dots for pupils, and some teeth. Done! Looking forward to never doing this again all in one day. Happy Halloween!
A fond memory: Around 1993 I sat down at a computer in my high school's library and someone had left a screen of ascii art of a graveyard with one tombstone that said, "KEV'S MOM, 444 LBS" on it, and a word balloon above that said, "GIMME SOME O' DAT SAMMICH"
