These new pieces have taken a little longer to make their way onto my website that I’d planned. Life has felt a little overwhelming lately. Thank you for your patience and for being here in my little, colourful corner of the world.

YAYOI’S JOY. Finally finished this piece after hours and hours of layers. And honestly, I adore them. I’ve never wanted something not to sell more. Acrylics. Each panel measures 5” x 16” - canvas on wooden block. Painted as a pair but each panel signed so can separate.

Probably my least favourite part of the canvas painting process is edging. It’s time consuming, fiddly and messy. But the algorithm demands process videos and we must feed the monster.

I couldn’t stop the itch to add neon pink to the last painting. So I did another in a similar palette and scratched that itch. This one is called Glitch and I actually love her.

Last one for a while because my soul needs to get off the laptop and get back to painting. But I had a few requests to make art wearable and I’m nothing if not stupidly obliging 😬

You asked, I listened! Individual cards are now in my store! Birthday? Good luck? A card for someone who has everything? A slightly passive-aggressive “thinking of you” card? I’ve got you. Basically… you’re now in charge of the card chaos. Choose wisely. 😌😂 🎨🖤

I don’t have the reserves for shiny promotions and whatever else I should be doing right now. So have a heavy dose of realness instead. #art #grief #healing #mentalhealth #artist

Woke up today and decided I hated this painting. The palette is bleak (yes I know Scottish weather is too), the texture was too pronounced and it just wasn’t working. So I’ve set to work pushing back and changing the texture. Not every piece is a success and that’s okay. We try again.

Something I’ve avoided for decades, the dreaded self portrait. Step way out of my comfort zone with this. It’s not a polished “look at me” but a raw, messy, uneven truth.
