Five days without torturing myself on the Pilates agony machines - this might be a nice break for a reset or more time time to grind my teeth in my sleep - l so love options..

such foresight to bring my laptop, (yes I travel everywhere with the bloody thing) QANTAS lounge Sydney, glass of St Hugo's and watching a bit more Dustfall - I am now in complete holiday mode for the week :)

travelling north to see BiL Pete, play Stanley in Streetcar, just arrived in Sydney, flying to the Goldie in an hour, dinner with friends and tomorrow, the bus down to Byron for a few days, and you know what I'm thinking about mostly? no fucking Pilates until Monday!

We are at the airport at 0830 for an 1100 flight to Sydney - I’ve given up protesting there’s no point - and just to keep her happy l did a 0630 Pilates class this morning 😳

The Government™ has made an ad about all these protests around the world, and it’s surprisingly honest and informative 😎👏💙👏😎 Juice Media

started six part mini-series on ABC called Dustfall with Anna Torv, where she returns to her hometown as a detective investigating a series of sexual assaults on young women - so far very taught psycholigical thriller with a few twists to come - could be Australian crime show of the year.

going to be out of town over the next few days, reckon when I get back I'll take another run at Dark (Netflix), German, psychological, time displacement, missing people, serial killer thing with clocks and dogs and a machine that goes ping.

have not seen The Drop, last film Gandolfini appeared in but not released until after he died, also Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace, so it has all coalesced a bit into my thinking this weekend - on Disney if you haven't seen it, released in 2014.

how cool is this...Noomi Rapace married Swedish actor Ola Rapace (born Pär Ola Norell) in 2001. Upon marrying, the couple decided to jointly adopt a brand-new surname instead of one partner taking the other's surname; they did this because their surnames, Norén and Norell, sounded so similar.

one thing for sure is that all this bloody exercise I'm doing is forcing me to have a nap every day around this time - out like a light for an hour - it is so nice...

AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett calls out violent political rhetoric such as Pauline Hanson’s car ramming video—for having a "direct correlation" to real attacks on politicians. Speers: “Like a cartoon that suggests someone should be hit by a car…?” Barrett: Yep.💥 #auspol

Now here’s a thing highlighted by a friend on Facebook - all her outside fish have been dying and apparently it’s because the big ones are eating the bogong moths which isn’t good for their tums - so if this is happening to you maybe get a net for the pond :)

In an address this week, former High Court Justice Michael Kirby argued that poverty wasn’t simply an economic issue but a fundamental human rights matter that was holding people back from participating in democracy. Read the full piece on The Point: https://sbrew.link/FLYSzBP4
