[not art] thought it’d be fun to do this too! since it’s ‘9 manga that shaped who i am,’ i tried to pick series from when i was younger that i loved or stuck with me somehow. no specific order/significance here.

runners up are probably things like claymore, mermaid saga, mushishi, fma, pluto…things i read when i was older. anime is harder since i couldn’t really watch anything by myself until i was way older (nosy/judgmental family), and mostly just read manga instead.

[oc rambles, rybine] ryou is extremely difficult to read and struggles to trust people, or “bother” those he does trust. emotional neglect means he generally keeps things bottled up. he’s getting better about not feeling like a burden, and at understanding his own feelings in general.

sabine is way more open + warms up quickly to people but is selective about who she trusts with her more personal feelings. if it’s anything intimate it’s pretty much only ryou who knows, otherwise she’s clever about what to share and how to do it. she’s a yapper but she’s smart about it.

I just honestly can't get over that Save Women Sports, an anti-trans group could only find five trans athletes competing K through 12. Five. The NCAA president testified a year and a half ago or so that there were less than 10 college level trans athletes. What the fuck are we doing, people
