What a shame and so many people should have made better decisions here. The most egregious - calling police on a 3yo Don't we normally hear stories about how Player X, as a kid, would dominate players 2, 3, 4 years older? And we've all seen where one player dominates. It's just a game people.

This is what we heard as well, but it was fine. He got better as the show went on. The man is 85 and is still performing regularly, so all credit to him. Glad we got to see him. Also, I'm curious how many people saw both the Backstreet Boys and Dylan this month. There's at least two 😂

Fuck this guy. I keep thinking about my mom's generation - women in the late 60s/early 70s fought for being something other than house wives and breaking the glass ceiling. Now we have people (men and women) who are actively working to go against this.
“Palantir cofounder and CEO Alex Karp states ‘AI will undermine the influence of highly educated, often female voters and give it to working class men. We have feminine energy running our cities and our courts,’ he complained.”
Mina spitting the truth here. If there was any other QB, people would really be embracing this team. And any other QB would probably have them looking better
The young Browns are all fun! This is a great landing spot for a new QB! I feel like I’m losing my mind hearing the extend Watson talk right now
Such a victory. Of course, the situation in Europe is a bit different. I've been to places that still allow smoking indoors bsky.app/profile/mark...
Indoor smoking bans. Those of you on the younger side have no idea how pervasive it was to go out to a restaurant, a bar, even a flight and be bombarded with second hand smoke. It was awful. So glad it is gone.
Every once in a while my wife is like "you're not having an affair, are you?" 1) I love you, we're gonna grow old together, and this has never crossed my mind 2) The logistics of an affair seem exhausting. Seriously. I ain't got time for that.
Reading that Ethan Klein cheated on his wife/mother of his children Hila, and my reaction is the same as it is when any parent has an affair: How do you people have the time? Even if I genuinely wanted to cheat on Anabel, I only have about 30 minutes of availability after getting the kids to bed
Let's make it three for three. Dinner is pizza with the kids and a movie - The Nightmare Before Christmas
Since I'm posting food today, here's lunch. I took some leftover chicken schnitzel and made a salad. Plus I recently procured some Ranch. Since we'll be in the US for the holidays, I don't have to ration it 😀
One of my regular bits with my wife is to comment "remember when we paid to not see commercials?" [with streaming] when we are watching something.
I've always been disproportionately annoyed by adverts and after streaming got ad-riddled I decided enough was enough and got a personal jellyfin server set up by a friend, and have now set up a custom launcher for my Chromecast, as part of my mission to strip out every single advert from my TV.

Made myself a breakfast sandwich this morning with a leftover baguette.i wrapped it in foil and put it in the oven. Then it did that thing where the cheese attaches to the foil as it is unwrapped.
There are three classic Conan bits that stay with me: - Old Timey Baseball - Richard Lewis and Shaq - Triumph at the Star Was premier
Folks my age grew up with Conan O'Brien writing for The Simpsons and hosting his first late night show. Older millennials were his first fanbase when older viewers nearly got his show cancelled for being "unfunny." We take full credit for him. If you're under 30, you are welcome.

I'm a big fan of the Lakewood lanes
Did you know Lakewood has 3 marked pedestrian-only lanes? Chase Ln. & Rose Ln. connect Clifton Blvd. to Lake Rd., and Edwards Ln. connects Lake Rd. to Edgewater Dr. Next time you are walking on the north side of the city, be sure to visit these "secret passageways"! #NationalPedestrianSafetyMonth
Hey ho, way to go Ohio (Positive)
No, Freedom Summer volunteers didn't take selfies or post tweets -- because that technology hadn't been invented yet. But when they were getting trained in Ohio before going down, they were *all over* the media of their day. Here's a paragraph on it (since cut from my book for space constraints)
Me trying to convince the 6&7yo kids I work with in soccer - the boring stuff makes you better. In my swimming days, I'd call these "meat and potatoes workouts." It may not be "sexy" but it's what gets the job done.

Hmmm, now this has my swimming mind thinking. At Masters Nationals this summer, the last place finisher for his age group was 2:20. Now these are people that swim regularly. Given his fitness level, I'm gonna go with the over.
If he publicly swims 100m in less than say 3.5 minutes, with the full press corps in attendance, I’m open to it.
