Update on the Snowblower rehab. I got the motor apart with all panels off. Cleaning everything. New carb and pull start going in. Going to grind all rust off panels and repaint. Unsure about the muffler and restoration. Focused on full motor rehab and then I will determine the body situation.

Ending the night with the Briggs 10hp motor on my bench with the traction drive from my old snowblower I disassembled today to get into my basement. It came with the house 4 years ago and has always been outside because of its size unable to fit through doorways. Well now it can.

Having a bit of loathing going on right now as I whittle away at repairing my fieldstone foundation. Unsure if I'm the house's 153yr history if anyone ever fully repaired it. #homerepairs #stonework #diy #mortar #loathing

In a country currently in misery, torn apart by greed, I try to always ground myself with nature. There is something about growing other things which is awesome. Here's a beautiful 4-5 month old hydroponic cloned GG4xDMT (aka Darlins Net) that's going into soil. #gardening #hydroponics #plants

What do you guys do with LC plates? Do you wait a few days right-side up and then flip? Wait for it to dry a bit? With Agar transfers I just store upside down directly after inoculation. How would you store this? 🍄 #mycology #mycologist #mushrooms #mushsky #mushroomsky #FungiFriends

Completely reset my clone areoponic/hydroponic tub. I made this years ago - holds 23 clones. Got 15 of the sad Pothos in photo, 4 of strain GG4xDMT (Darlins Net), and 2 of strain GG4. Filled with 6 gallons and is on a timer. #indoorgardening #garden #plants #plantlove #diy #hydroponics

Because they are so long but unstable and singular, it is hard to find a home to place them in the house. If I combine them all into a single potted plant, we can hang it in a window and is easier to deal with and we aren't tossing plants! Win win.

The idea with the 15 Pothos from the 2 plants is these were plants my wife has had for awhile in her fish tank growing. One she moved to just a tiny bit of soil and it's barely hanging on. The other just needs more light situation.

One more layer. One more layer, layer, layer. Note: This is the second pass on my fieldstone foundation lower half which is the fresh work. Will still be coming again for another once hardened. #home #diy #stone

A lot of my time is going into this wall daily 'chipping away'. 150yr old fieldstone foundation that I don't think ever has been retouched correctly. Years of either painting or plaster/mortar. What you see more freshly blocked off in the top right is an old window. Trying to get a column complete.

Needless to say that years of drainage from a not properly sealed window down to all the stone and blocks have met there match and there is so much garbage on the walls to take off. #restoration #homerenovation #oldasshouse

This entire wall visually was blocked off by a very large tool bench. After buying this house 3 years ago we've had some water drainage in the basement from this wall in heavy rain weather. Turns out the old window wasn't ever pulled out but they filled in the outside with dirt.

First time actually doing a flush. I have two 40gal hot water heaters in the house. This first tanks spigot broke on me and the old shut off valve for the water inlet wasn't fully closed when I started. It's been a learning process in this old house. This heater is from 05. Looking to do anode rods.

Noticed yesterday my sewer water main was draining slowly. Put on my gloves and got to the stinky work. My 25ft drain snake didn't find anything, so I rented a commercial drain auger that goes 120ft. Ran it three times and pulled out what looks like roots each time and no blockage anymore.

Some pretty Pearl Oyster mushroom growth on my blue plates of the same LC my blocks are growing from. Wanted to make sure to save some more of it and this was my last of my last batch of LC syringes. #mycology #FungiFriends #fungi #mushroom #madscientist

So I'm about 4 weeks into all of my work being done in a clean room tent with good lighting and I must say I'm enjoying the cleanliness and my results. I was getting Trich in jars after 4h pressure cooking just sitting on the shelf after 4 days.

Also the dark red jars on the bottom shelf are just pressure cooked #homegrow grapes from this summer. Planning on straining and rebottling but also thinking about hoping on the #mead train and mixing in some of the juice.
