Overall, we are seeing some very odd deal talks that are supposedly a part of ending the war in Ukraine. But in fact evidence shows these deals are structured (in the most recent case secretly until now) to financially benefit Russia or business partners of the Trump and Witkoff families.

So now Trump is going to sell Alaska back to Russia?!! Turning the clock all the way back to 1867….
JUST POSTED: A Russian energy giant has secretly moved to acquire a position in a massive Alaska gas project. Its part of talks between Witkoff/Kushner & Putin. But CEO of US company resigns after learning of Russian money in the project. A wowzer of a story. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/23/u...

🚨🚨🚨 Q: Is there any scenario in which DOJ would try to block states from certifying the election? AG TODD BLANCHE: Yes, of course. It is not DOJ's intention to improperly interfere with elections or the state certification process, but ...
Not "we wouldn't give them Patriot missiles" or "we wouldn't sell them Patriot missiles." We wouldn't let other countries give Ukraine THEIR OWN Patriot missiles. Trump likes having things named after him. We should rename them Traitor missiles in his honor. www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2...

Very lucky tonight to have @marklemley.bsky.social speaking at the University of Auckland on Copyright Issues in Generative AI on behalf of the NZCIP. Lots to think about as I rush home for twin bedtime. Including the utility of copyright for the taking of photographs as I walk down to the bus!

The centrist/non-partisan talking shops that have popped up lately like mushrooms are attacking the wrong thing. America isn't suffering from "polarization." It's suffering from right-wing radicalization against pluralism and democracy. Here's a great explainer. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwW9...
