In 10 days, the first installment of The Blood Saga, Blood Slaves, will be unleashed into the world. If you haven’t already, please consider preordering this tale of immortal emancipation that features a reimagined origin story for the vampire. Link in bio🙏🏽🩸

What if the world didn’t have to be falling apart right now? What if none of this, and none of the stuff that led up to it, ever happened? What if something new, fueled by blood, had been put in place way before 1776? In two weeks, wonder no more. Click the link in the bio & join the Rebellion.

It doesn’t get much better than having your kick ass agency who stuck by you and your book share said book’s first trade review… and it’s a good one! Big thank you Library Journal, Becky Stratford, and the folks at @therightsfactory.bsky.social 🙌🏾

📖🔥 #LibraryJournal has high praise for #BloodSlaves by @markusredmond.bsky.social: “Redmond’s work will provoke intense discomfort in its audience and has the power to engender honest conversations about what could have been but also, more importantly, what should be now.” 🛒 Available for presale

Attempting to convince you to preorder Blood Slaves by showing you my two favorite lines in the book. “Kill me now and I die a hero.” “I’ll be the one writing the history and I don’t even know your name.” Click the link in the bio and join the Rebellion🙏🏽🩸

The good folks at Kensington Publishing said, “We want your book in as many hands as possible.” So they linked up with Goodreads, gave away 100 early copies of Blood Slaves. Then did it again. Now, they’re doing it AGAIN. So, click the link in the bio and join the Rebellion early.

Thanks for always looking after it, Michelle🙏🏽🩸

BLOOD SLAVES by @markusredmond.bsky.social reimagines the vampire origin story as the last member of an ancient African vampire tribe & an enslaved man lead a blood-soaked battle for freedom & revenge. @kensingtonbooks.bsky.social O.S. Jul 29 #LibraryReads nominations by Jun 1 #EWGC bit.ly/3YgjYdH

It is bloody and brutal, but sadly, a reflection of the real history many had to live through… and many who didn’t. Thank you for acknowledging this🙏🏽🩸

I was in love with the concept of Blood Slaves from the jump. It’s ultimately a revenge story filled with vampiric goodness. I just felt so satisfied by the end because these characters go through ALOT. TW for graphic violence and torture, but it’s definitely worth the read. #Booksky #Blacksky

It’s the second day of the sale!

Well, Mr. King, here goes. Can I interest you in reading my debut novel? It’s called Blood Slaves and it’s about a slave who discovers vampires are from Africa, not Europe, becomes one, and ends slavery 150 years before the Civil War. I’m pretty sure my publisher would be willing to comp you a copy.
