I read Maya-san no Yofukashi in the morning. It's about two adult friends mostly hang out in voice chat late into the nights. It's also probably about you reading this. It was good and short with just three volumes, but felt it ended a bit suddenly.

Endfield 1.6 (Sanctuary of Ink) was an experience when exploring the environment. I don't know how to phrase this without sounding like I make things up, but everything about this is basically my ideal. You got mountains, cliffsides, winding paths that loop back on themselves. Outstanding.

Honestly, coupled with the music, I was actually feeling quite emotional throughout this. It just felt tailored-made to my preferences, and the fact it ended up reminding me of an unfinished Team Fortress 2 map I once tried creating adds a bittersweet flavor. And my screenshots barely show anything.

really dont enjoy the fact i've become known as the younger one at work which has involuntarily made me the tech help and the one chosen for things requiring walking between places

I think this might be like the least sexy and titillating anime I've seen despite it seemingly trying to be just that. Because surely it can't just think that "haha, boobs" is funny on its own.

My episode 1 impression is that it's something trying to be horny and sexy (and funny?), when in reality it's on the opposite side of the scale. But it also happens to be well-animated. This was weird and adapted like small 4-koma gags stitched together.

Let's see what "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes" is about.

Abnormal Spectrum in Arknights felt... a bit messy to me? I found it hard to grasp the scale of things, and the whole Yurodstvo thing felt like a total dull detour given everything else was really good.

Checked what Sekina Aoi is up to these days, and discovered they started a new light novel series about board games. Wonder if it has as much board games as Gamers! had video games.

Did a quick playhrrough of Yoshi’s Story. What a strange game this is. Probably heavily misunderstood, but it’s also so different (or perhaps a strange evolution of Yoshi’s Island depending on your viewpoint).

I do think the slippery controls and sniffing mechanic works against it, but it’s pretty cool how it’s a choose-your-path storybook with a focus on high scores. Almost feels like an arcade game.

Finished Legendary Starfy 3 (Densetsu no Stafy 3) That ruled. It keeps the format of 2, but has just the right level lengths and remived some of the more annoying parts. What a fantastic trio of GBA games this was.
