Our poor baby Lily had TPLO surgery yesterday! 2nd one this year.

Here is our girl Lily, 8 wks post TPLO surgery to repair a torn ACL doing her post op walks with her sis Sammi! Loook at her go! Vet gave her a clean bill today! We can chase balls again. You can’t believe how excited she is about that.

Bad pet day here. Lily slipped on ice and tore her ACL. Sammi has really bad UTI with rods in her urine. Vet visit with X-Rays, Ultrasound, Bloodwork, office visit is hitting the wallet hard. With surgery more $$$$ to come.

We have a full house today! Cardinals, Woodpeckers, BlueJays, lots of Sparrows and squirrels. Later we will put out apples for the deer. We are buried in the house waiting for the plows to come but warm and safe with the pups by our side.

This place was fun for a while but now it’s fucking depressing!

Tomorrow Lily the Lion turns 7! She will have a homemade meal with turkey & steak with brown rice and carrots, her favorite Pinky Balls, ice cream from Dairy Queen & all the hugs & kisses we can give her. She has been one of the sweetest loving souls we have had the pleasure to live with.

Ok, so it’s 19 Degrees out. Let the 2 dogs out in the yard for their last pee break & they’re lying out there like it’s a day at the beach! WTF? They don’t want to come in !
