In all my years voting as a US citizen living in Canada ( since 2008), I've never had a problem getting a ballot. Until this year. Somehow my mailed ballot still hasn't arrived. I've contacted my officer in Port Huron and will be getting an electronic ballot. But still......

This Mets fan 🧡💙 is cheering for those White Sox! 🤍🖤

On the last day of baseball season, as a Mets fan I'm filled with feelings of heartbreak, regret, and --as always-- optimism.

I don't care what anyone says, I like Brett Baty.

I TOLD you so!!! Mets 7, Rangers 2 Baty Grand Slam.

I like not hearing trump spout lies every hour. I could get used to this press ban.

.... then they came for the journalists.....

Our backyard

Hooray for Bo, but let's not forget Brett Baty put the Mets on the board.

I don't care what anyone says, I like Brett Baty.

I need to know what, exactly, were the US terms to the trade talks that were so egregious. I listened with interest to Carney’s speech this morning, but all he said was the terms were unacceptable.

I’m happy again watching the Mets. I couldn’t care less about wild card spots I’m just happy to see them play like a team

Mets Sweep the Nats! Who cares about the wildcard? I’m just happy when they win! 💙🧡💙🧡

When does a skirmish become a war?

These days I grieve for America. But this gives me hope. Happy Fourth of July.

And Canada ( Carney) wants to build a pipeline???

I’m not really a Taylor Swift fan, but I love the fact that she is usurping trumps stupid fair/political rally with her huge wedding at MSG.

Mets over Braves 8-1! Over THE BRAVES!!!!

Watching two men trying to knock each other unconscious in front of the ruined White House seems to me a fitting event for this administration.

Don’t stop believin’

Tomorrow my favourite team (Mets, God help me) start a series with my second favourite team ( Tigers, almost as challenged). I guess I should be okwith whoever wins?🤷🏼‍♀️

What the actual fuck!

Someone out there decided it would be a good idea to put a German Shepherd in charge of babysitting a bunch of Doberman puppies and they were 100% correct

The last thing someone who dances like this needs is a ballroom.

This:

Swalwell and Gonzales are gone. Good riddance What about Trump?

Exactly

People keep forgetting this

Is anyone speaking up for the Iranian civilians?

What’s happening to the Iranian civilians?

METS! Great start! New Season— New Team! 💙🧡💙🧡

This makes me sick

I Was Thinking about Catch 22 (Joseph Heller). NOW I’m thinking about On The Beach (Nevil Shute).

I need to re-read Catch 22.

Is it evil of me to despise these people he singles out as people whose lives are so much better because of something he says he’s done.

Is there any way I can see a real-time fact check on trump’s SOU speech? I think it’s the only way I could watch it without my head exploding.

Every time I see a dog in a movie, I get anxious. #doesthedogdie.com

……. then they came for the journalists.

Don Lemon arrested— WTF????

Having a nine year old grandson means that, at 75 years old, I have finally learned how to throw a football.

It’s meaningless now.

I was sad when the Mets let Iglesias go. It felt like some of the magic had disappeared. But now Nimmo? It may be a good business decision but I feel like the heart is gone. But I guess to be a fán , you have to be a fan of the team —not just the players. But Damn it!

NIMMMMMMOOOOOOO! 😧

Watched this game on MLB last night. #baseballwithdrawal

What happens when you make a deal with the devil?

I’m not sad BECAUSE of the Blue Jays. I’m sad FOR the Blue Jays. I hope when the dust clears they’ll realize how truly great they are.
