A team of construction workers completed a critical project removing asbestos from South Shore schools. When two workers collected their hard-earned money, they found they were underpaid. We investigated and now they'll get $15k back - money that will help them support their families and pay bills.

REMINDER: if your vote didn't make a difference, they wouldn't try so hard to take it away. While Donald Trump has relentless targeted our democracy, Massachusetts has led the fight to protect your vote. Here's FIVE ways my office has defended your voting rights ahead of Election Day ⬇️

Growing up in Boston, we never saw the beauty or benefit of government. Now, as your AG, I see the power government has to make people's lives better every day. Good government can make our communities safer, protect our freedoms, and advance the dreams of others. That's why voter turnout matters.

4️⃣ My office sued Trump to block burdensome requirements to voter registration forms and restricting mail-in voting. We will always push back on this Administration’s attempts to create chaos, confusion, and distrust in our state election system, which is safe and secure.

5️⃣ We fought to keep Massachusetts voter files out of the hands of Trump's Department of Justice. This victory made clear that the privacy of our voters is not up for negotiation. We will never put or residents at risk to meet Trump's baseless demands for your unredacted data.

2️⃣ We co-led a lawsuit to block Trump's Executive Order disenfranchising voters with sweeping election restrictions. His attempts to disqualify voters and throw out lawful ballots are simply unconstitutional. We will never stand by while the President places unlawful barriers to the ballot box.

3️⃣ When Trump held disaster relief funding hostage in an attempt to strong-arm states into allowing unlawful election interference, we sued. Massachusetts will never cower to Donald Trump. My office has protected $4 billion in federal funding because when we fight, we win.

1️⃣We led a multistate coalition in suing Trump's USPS to protect mail-in voting - and won. Our victory helped ensure that every resident can make their voice heard in the upcoming election. We fought so voters can rest easy knowing mail-in voting is safe and secure despite Trump's misinformation.

Did you know that my office does routine visits to construction sites to make sure they're complying with our labor laws? Here's why: In 2024, a routine visit helped us find that a Boston housing company was misclassifying workers. We launched an investigation and now workers are getting $8k back.

Utility bills are soaring; your credit score shouldn't suffer. Recently, we assisted a consumer in getting a goodwill credit adjustment of $95.79 due to a high electric bill. As my office fights to hold utilities accountable and lower prices, we'll keep working to provide relief.

Are you voting by mail in the midterm elections? Thank your Attorney General's Office. When Donald Trump unlawfully attempted to gut access to mail-in voting, state AGs took him to court and won. Mail-in voting is safe, secure, and relied on by millions of voters, including the President himself.

When companies respond to you coldly, my office will always advocate for you with compassion. When a Massachusetts teen was unable to attend a school trip to Italy due to mental health treatment, her family's travel insurance claim was denied. We stepped in and got them a full refund of $8,909.

BREAKING: I'm filing a legal brief demanding DHS put an end to ICE's warrantless arrests. The threat of masked ICE agents in unmarked vans is keeping kids out of school, disrupting our economy, and breaking trust. I won't stand by while our community pays the price for this anti-immigrant agenda.

Last week, United Healthcare reported that their quarterly earnings have DOUBLED from last year hitting $4.1 BILLION. I sued United for upcharging MassHealth to make a profit. While they hit earnings goals, their profits over people approach is wasting your tax dollars. I won't stand for it.

Have you ever booked a hotel that looked better online than in person? Maybe they promised a view or extra space and didn't deliver. A Massachusetts resident called us after she paid $522 for hotel accommodations that she didn't get. We got her a full refund. You deserve to get what you pay for.

Massachusetts, know that your AG's Office is fighting for workers every day. Recently, we investigated a Boston nail salon and found 20 workers were owed $30k. We issued citations for breaking our timekeeping, payroll, and worker classification laws, putting money back into workers' pockets.
