And the rest of us get to pay for it. I'd MUCH rather my taxes go towards a home and support for the homeless than to pay for guards and a cell for them. And it'd be cheaper.

This could be us. It won't be until we elect more Socialists to Congress ❤️ Let's make that happen 😀 #climate

Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative electrek.co/2025/11/04/a...

We live in a country where the media is focused more on who a Democratic mayoral candidate defines as his ‘aunt’ than on the DHS Twitter account putting out white nationalist propaganda and replying to Nazis online.

She benched Walz, campaigned with the Cheneys, and promised to put a Republican on her cabinet. If that's not going right, I dont know what is. Stop lying.

bxmartian.bsky.social@bxmartian.bsky.social

That's actually not true. She never pivoted hard right at all. Someone provided a graph of her popularity going up after she she said she wouldn't change anything and her popularity going DOWN after she said she would push for a ceasefire in Oct 2024. I'll look for the graph 1/

"Yet, when--" See, that's where you lost the argument. We're talking about now, today. They could easily be up big time in the polls, but they're actually under water, because (except for sycophants like you) most people see them for the frauds they are.

bxmartian.bsky.social@bxmartian.bsky.social

Yet when they were power, they tried to forgive student loans, held airlines accountable for missed and delayed flights, giving customers refunds, restricted the sales of guns to mentally ill, protected consumers from high overdraft fees, and MUCH more. All of which was rolled back by Trump 1/

No, actually is the god's honest truth. And I can prove it. Ever heard of opensecrets.org? Search for your favorite Democratic leader and see the long list of corporations and Super Pacs giving them money to not improve the lives of Americans.

opensecrets.orgOpenSecretsOpenSecrets is the nation's premier research and government transparency group tracking money in politics and its effect on elections and policy.

Saying "both sides are the same" is an extremely privileged take. 2/2

You're trying to create a false narrative, and the facts don't bear you out. She didn't lose because she was a black woman. There were several political and strategical errors her campaign made. Quit using empty identity politics to shield her failures.

bxmartian.bsky.social@bxmartian.bsky.social

Ppl, including the ones on the left, are a lot more forgiving to anyone who isn't black. And now you're switching your argument to "well, MLB isn't that popular anyway." Always moving the needle when you're cornered.

Replying to @scumbelievable.bsky.social

why are you so hell-bent on it being her, a politician who is not well-liked, cannot marshal the Left and shows no interest in trying, and lost disastrously to the least popular president of all time? the point is to win and use that win to build political power, not to be loyal to Kamala Harris

You have no idea what you are talking about. Don't speak on shit you don't have info on. Do some research on the subject from somewhere that isn't far right capitalist propaganda.

Yea, Stalin and Mao only did sparkling mass murder. It's only officially genocide if it comes from the Genocide Region of France, everybody knows that - gosh! 😏

the key issue is the 1 percent have legions of academic PUMC bureaucrats and administrators who reinforce the idea of unskilled labor, while gatekeeping unskilled laborers from a decent standard of living, because they haven't "earned" it.

The United States' ultimate thesis is that being poor is a moral failing. If you have money, it's because you were trustworthy enough to "earn" it and thus can be trusted to be given more, whereas if you do not have money, it's because of your own personal failings and you cannot be trusted.

The thing about our society’s attitude towards drugs is that it’s always been a permission structure for certain people to use them behind closed doors and stigmatization and criminalization for others.

"Why aren't young people protesting?" Consider—because they all got their shit rocked by police and prosecutors last year trying to stop a genocide, and you abandoned them.

the only reason you feel free to talk the type of shit you are talking is because you are sitting behind your little keyboard. if we standing face to face you wouldnt be so bold you punk ass bitch. fuck you.

It does matter, in terms of developing talent. the fact that he has few homegrown stars on the women's side tells me everything. a national promotion shouldnt rely solely on their competitors' throwaways for talent. they should be able to make their own. AEW relies on japan and wwe for talent.

Steamy Ray Vaughn🇨🇦⚜️@steamyrv.bsky.social

And finally, it doesn't matter where someone wrestled previously. Let's not forget that for nealy 20 years, WWE was the only major promotion, so lots of talent walked through those doors. If they're All Elite now, that is all that matters

I have no idea why people who are supposedly on the left are still flirting with voting Democrats when these are the people they are grooming for leadership.

United Farm Workers@ufw.bsky.social

Instead of fighting to protect American workers, Elissa Slotkin told us she’s decided to work with the GOP to make it easier and cheaper to import vulnerable foreign guest workers. How does THAT add up to a “war plan” against Trump?

your suggestion should be readily apparent to anyone paying attention. the problem is tony khan looks at AEW, not as a national promotion, but an indy with a TV deal. so he does indy level shit. bringing in randos from the indies for one offs. matches with no heat, no fallout. just no vision.

Blaise Boo-lysse Bernard Collins@wittywebhandle.bsky.social

I wrote this before Wrestlemania. Since then I've seen Paul Heyman, Pat McAfee begin to ape Trumpisms pretty openly and they managed to headline their roast w/ Tony Hinchcliffe. This is yet another reason why AEW's path to victory of WWE is a product that embraces an identity in direct contrast.

They killed him, y'all. If this doesn't wake you up, nothing will. Get ready to move mountains, or get ready to take your spot alin the concentration camps after the next round ups.

Speaking now from El Salvador, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) says he was denied access to Kilmar Abrego Garcia by El Salvador leaders. And was denied a phone call to him Van Hollen: "The Trump Administration is lying about Abrego Garcia"
