I drew this without practicing. But I did google a picture of a glass of whiskey. People liked it. Only a few noticed the flag in distress. I felt pretty clever overall.

Nephew is doing tree work for me. He's highly trained. He helped clear forests to prevent fires after two big ones in the area. He even lost his own home to a fire. Said, "Toss me up a coupla waters, I'll put them in my ditty bag." Haven't heard the term "ditty bag" since I was in Brownies.

Seems the problem with housing isn't just quantity. "Solutions" seem to be leaning toward smaller homes on smaller lots to contain costs, instead of looking at reducing the actual costs of building homes in the first place. We're asking new generations to accept a lot less for the same price.

"The cruelty is the point" cannot be stated too many times. It also has a desensitizing factor about it that scholars of history know too well. Incrementalize barbarism and nobody will notice.

Every time a California Democrat posts something on social media, MAGA bozos bring up its failing high speed rail project. Tiresome! Asked and answered. Why doesn't Elon fund that project? Californians bought 203,000 Teslas in 2024. 180,000 in 2025. They even buy Cybertrucks. I think he owes us.

In high school econ, we learn about supply and demand. We are shown graphs and made to create them, manipulating each side to see what happens to the other. Seems like Markwayne et al have forgotten the demand side. Kiddie porn coming from the Philippines now, sold to American men. Case in point.

The thing about regulating AI is this: Hackers and scammers have already proven it is a valuable and convincing way to relieve people of their money, their financial security, and their privacy. Almost every ad on social media uses AI and about 95% of them are scams. Hear that, Meta?

Google AI is my new best friend. It guides me through a whole lot of questions. That being said, it's not a "super intelligence." It's still artificial. I think it's an important distinction that accurately captures what type of intelligence it is. "Super" is above, over, beyond. It is not that.

They say early voting is showing "Democratic gains" in red regions of the nation. Gains are not enough. We need Democratic wipeouts. Come on people. No more dilly dallying around.

My theory is he's repeating what he's told. The lies don't originate with him. He's too dull-minded and self-absorbed. Bannon, Miller, Wiles, Rubio, Hegseth--tell him oversimplified half truths and he blows them up from there. My guess is they often think, "How did he get that from what I said?"

Lotsa people asking me for money these days. Only $5! Only 1$! Clearly the fate of the world rests upon me giving my money to someone else. They say they'll use it to put things on the TV. Like that will help. Has anyone checked viewership lately? LOL. I think not!

I read the Pope is going in for surgery to remove a nodule from his lung. I'm sure he'll be fine. He's 71. That got me to thinking: I am of an age where people think I'm wise enough to be Pope. Well, that's mind blowing. I feel like I just graduated high school.

Where are the Christians claiming Christa Pike's dramatic recovery from two lethal injections is a miracle direct from God's hands? I've not heard from them. Have you?

Pre-tariff price of shredded parmesan cheese from Costco was $12.99 for a 1 lb tub. Post tariff price is $19.99 for that same tub. Consumer has paid the tariffs for months. Corporates get the court-mandated refund. OH but I'm SURE they'll return it to the consumers with lowered prices. (eyeroll)

You're not voting for a person. You're voting for a team that has a stated set of ideas. Those ideas are presented to a larger team, many of whom oppose those ideas. The larger team decides on the fate of those ideas. That's how the system works.

CNN is wrong. They said, “No Kings” demonstrations have taken place from coast to coast today, with attendees rallying against President Donald Trump’s policies, the rising cost of living and the war with Iran. Not true. It was 100% anti-trump.

I'd like to point out what an abject failure trump's 2020 insurrection was. Trump says 250,000 people attended that rally. Let's go with that. He incited all of them. But only 1500-2000 stormed the building. Why? Because the rest were all peaceful, non-violent, patriotic Americans.
