For the season points race, Theo maintains his lead despite a bit of a drop-off in production, while Athena and Margaret make big moves up to 2nd and 3rd from 7th and 14th, respectively. Gisele takes 4th, while Nepheli and Xylia settle into a tie for 5th. It's still anyone's race this early!

Coincidentally, I've been on Discord for 10 years, and it'll be 20 on FurAffinity in a few months. All these numbers blow my mind; it doesn't seem that long, and time just keeps on speeding up. :P

Canyon and the very last character I'll write about in these were both just invented on the spot before last season so we could have a tournament-friendly 64 contestants. I never really thought about what he was until now, and it turns out he has quite a story! There is a lot of me in him, I think.

I've played WoW for 20+ years, and I've always loved the tauren lore and game zones. It's fun to imagine Athena leaning over Thunder Bluff with her hooves firmly planted on Mulgore soil!

Juno started as sort of a gender-bent version of Jeremy from the Secret of NIMH years ago, but she never developed much beyond that. I almost gave her Aurelia's laughter trigger, but I think this fits her better!

I'm down to the last seven characters, and I know less and less about them going in, so they may get a little less backstory from here on. I'm also trying to come up with ways to change size that haven't already been used a lot, and that's proving a big (heh) challenge. We'll get there, though!

It's funny, I've had these two in my head for well over a decade, and it was only today that I realized how similar they are. Boom, instant siblings. Why yes, it did make their profiles easier to write. Ha, ha. What a happy coincidence that was. Heh, heh.

Thanks to everyone for indulging me on these profiles--I am making myself do this publicly so that I'll keep at it and get them all done before the next MM season starts in September. It's been a lot of fun so far, and it means a lot to me to be able to share them with you. (1/2)

OK, I know we just did a kinetic energy absorber with Fenryr, but it also just fits so well with a cheetah. I could see her getting a demolition job, showing up with a big grin as she runs full tilt toward the side of a building, crashing into it and growing so big she just flattens the whole thing!

Also funny that she happened to get the number that she did. I imagine she has had to endure quite a few Action 52 and Cheetahmen jokes.
