We're delighted to be part of the Big Give Women and Girls Match Fund Campaign 2026! From 6–13 October, every donation we receive up to £2,500, will be doubled — meaning twice the impact for new mums and parents who need our support the most. We'll post the link once it's live - thank you.

We support The Motherhood Group #BlackMaternalMentalHealthWeek. A time to reflect on the experiences of Black women, who still face a disproportionate risk of maternal and infant death and are more likely to report negative experiences of care during pregnancy and birth.

The UK has one of the least generous #parentalleave systems in Europe. For too long, parents & their families have been let down by an outdated system. This is why Maternity Action is proud to support a collective call for a stronger & more inclusive parental leave system #UKParentalLeaveReview

This #VolunteersWeek we’d like to say a huge thank you to the people who so generously give their time to help us promote, protect and enhance the rights of pregnant women and new parents. Thank you for volunteering for us – it means the world.

In 2025, we helped thousands understand their rights & access vital benefits. We shone a light on unfair maternity charging & the cost of living crisis through our reports & guidance, & pushed for change at every level — from workplaces to Parliament. Thank you to everyone who made this possible 💜

Maternity Action's Head of Policy Judith Dennis attended a roundtable yesterday with Government Minister Dearden & Baroness Sherlock to discuss the parental leave and pay review. We continue to urge the Government to take steps to #endpregnancypoverty
