What’s more surprising than Trump admitting he can’t lower grocery costs is that people believed him. The idea that “drill baby drill” while simultaneously jacking up tariffs would lower inflation—when the U.S. is already drilling at record highs—was always a head-scratcher. It never made sense!

Every time I read the local news and see a teacher who was awarded a $250 grant for her classroom, I understand that she spent hours of her own time applying for it. Writing it. Going through a submission process. For $250. For her classroom…

And yet, they voted to get rid of immigrants? Nah, they voted to get rid of poor brown people.
