Feel so very honoured to have spent the last 3 years as Lead Writer on this incredible game, and am especially proud of the amazing cast of characters we've created. Thanks so much for having me @maverick-games.com & @flawlessc0wboy.bsky.social!

Attention Scottish voice actors! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎤 We’re gearing up to cast an upcoming project, which will require an (almost) all Scottish cast! So watch this space, if it’s nae bother.

Superb. My version of this is when i pitched my "what if the Beatles were wizards" show to Sky in a swanky London club, where the tight arrangment of tables meant that Bane era Tom Hardy was able to glare furiously at me from a few inches over the exec's shoulder throughout. Insanely distracting.

The extraordinary 1936 cartoon 'Bottles', which they would apparently just show on kids tv. I think it more or less defined the scaffolding for every nightmare i ever had. It's easily found on youtube, though i would warn you it is inevitably, staggeringly racist.

In honor of scary media month: what is the first piece of media you remember truly frightening you as a child?

Great event, even if you dont know what a roguelike is (a bunch of the people who make them cant agree either).

Our full schedule is up, and what an amazing one it is! roguelike.club/event2026.html Our delightful alternate-sports themed MUD will be open for you to watch all of this goodness live on October 17-18!

I still find it astonishing that Sir Ian Livingstone is the only person knighted for services to the UK games industry. Film, TV and sport are constantly recognised with knighthoods, yet one of Britain's biggest creative industries has had just one.

Burnhouse Lane is the A Dark Song of videogames. So excited for this.

Do your job, learn the routine, and venture beyond the fog. #Trainwatch, a new game by Rem from Rem_HarvesterGames, creator of The Cat Lady, Downfall, Burnhouse Lane and Lorelai is coming in 2027 🚋

A reminder that C4's show 'Naked Attraction', where they point at people's genitals and go "oooh" is also sold as 'science', so their factual unit is hardly a storied institute of Galilean iconoclasm.

A discussion on A Mortician's Tale on @crateandcrowbar.bsky.social was huge moment for me on my journey into game dev. I never knew there were games like that, & I'd never heard anyone talk about games quite like @philippawarr.bsky.social did - and still does! Loved this chat.

"The maverick trillionaire pondered this. Could it be possible? Was he somehow...disliked? Did somewhere a person exist who doubted his genius? No. It could not be. He crafted his riposte & launched it with deadly accuracy. "I know you are", he replied archly. But what am *I*?" A masterful gambit."

Chris and Chad are absolute masters of transmitting all that is uncanny, unholy & wrong in a way that feels so uniquely *right*, and having playtested one of the scenarios here, i can attest that it was every bit as inspired, deranged & hilarious as everything else they do.

GOLD TEETH has launched! It's a piratical TTRPG set in a cursed version of the Age of Sail, with 350 pages of briny phantasmagoria, colonial terror and nauseating seafood. It's part Master & Commander, part Blackadder, left to ripen in the sun like a beached porpoise. teethrpg.itch.io/gold-teeth
