A week from tomorrow is the beginning of the END of the Orange Atrocity! 🍊 💩 #voteVoteVOTE

Sometimes cooking is as simple as taking a few quality ingredients that you know will work well together and cooking them with love and care. Wholegrain mustard crusted beef, served with a buttery fondant potato and pieces of beetroot. Recipe from James Martin. #food #foodsky #homecooking

Appalling decision by the International Weightlifting Federation

This track is about being rejected at a disco by a girl and feeling humiliated. It was first recorded under the title "Crash and Burn", and this version was included on the first pressing of the album. However, the title was changed in the aftermath of the Columbia Shuttle disaster. #music #Busted

A very autumnal dinner: chicken, pumpkin and sage casserole. To be served with mashed potato and kale. Recipe from James Martin. #food #foodsky #homecooking #autumn

Got a friend coming over for dinner (and to meet Mia 🐱) so made some Welsh cakes. Recipe from James Martin. #food #foodsky #baking #Wales

"Radio:Active" was the fourth studio album by McFly, and - in my view - their best. This track, in particular, is an emotional powerhouse. Written by Tom Fletcher about getting over a toxic relationship, it was based on an ex-girlfriend who wasn’t happy no matter what he did. #music #McFly #rock

A lovely walk this morning. Felt very autumnal with fallen leaves and a distinct chill in the air. #walk #outdoors #nature #Yorkshire

Made some chocolate covered flapjacks. Yum yum 😋 #food #foodsky #baking

I think someone might be a fan of their new stool. #cat #catsofbluesky

Yoghurt with homemade granola this morning. Recipe from Sophie Dahl. #food #foodsky #breakfast

Dinner tonight was leftover roast chicken served with James Martin's recipe for potato, parsnip and celeriac rostis. I also did some creamy leeks too go with it. #food #foodsky #homecooking #leftovers

Today's song is one from McBusted: the supergroup created when members of Busted and McFly came together to tour and later record an album together. This track is a tongue-in-cheek "up yours" to the music industry through a lament of Busted's break-up. #music #mcfly #busted #poppunk

Invented at the Waldorf Hotel in New York, this classic salad is over 100 years old and still going strong. It's perfect in autumn when apples are in season. This version from James Martin adds chicken and has the walnuts caramelised. #food #foodsky #goodlunch

A midweek treat. Baked custard tart with mulled spiced plums. Recipe from James Martin. #food #foodsky #homecooking #baking

Why? Because they're morons who think that the rules that everyone else abides by shouldn't apply to them.

A midweek roast dinner always hits different #food #foodsky #roastdinner

What a lovely looking bird! #food #foodsky

Did some baking for a charity bake sale at work tomorrow #food #foodsky #cake

I've come to the conclusion that Dreamies is like the cat version of heroin

Mackerel and horseradish work together really well. Today's lunch was marinated mackerel served with lettuce leaves in a creamy hoseradish dressing and toasted bread. Recipe from James Martin. #food #foodsky #goodlunch

I'm sorry, but a "pantry" is a room or a cupboard. It is not a table 🙄 #GBBO #bakeoff

Isn't she the cutest 🥰 #cat #catsofbluesky

Another dish involving smoked haddock. This time it's a smoked haddock, mascapone and leek tart. Recipe from James Martin. #food #foodsky #fish #homecooking

Sleepy girl 🥹 #cat #pets #catsofbluesky

Although not a McFly single, this song was written by lead singer Tom Fletcher for #ChildrenInNeed last year. Sung with his son Buzz, an accompanying book was released. The story follows a young boy navigating grief, who discovers healing through a magical journey with Pudsey Bear. #music #McFly

I'm a big fan of baked onions. They magically transform in the oven, becoming sweeter and more mellow in flavour. In this recipe by Sophie Dahl, they're served with chargrilled salmon. #food #foodsky #homecooking

Sophie Dahl warns not to serve this on a first date as it's not a natural aphrodisiac! Smoked haddock in a cream and parsley sauce, topped with cheese. #food #foodsky #goodlunch

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Watching "Play for today" with a glass of wine, a bowl of crisps and a cat sat on my lap. Bliss!

93 spring flowering bulbs planted in the front garden this afternoon. Cant wait to see them flowering. #garden #gardening

A light lunch today of warercress, spinach and cannellini bean salad with a harissa dressing. Recipe adapted from Sophie Dahl. #food #foodsky #goodlunch #salad

This was released as the lead single from McFly's fourth studio album, Radio:Active, and was the first to be released under the band's new record label, 'Super Records'. It has a more grown up, rockier feel, and is about about the band's struggle for critical acceptance. #music #McFly #rock #00s

Venison with parsnip mash, roasted beets and braised red cabbage. Recipe from James Martin. Fun fact: venison used to refer to the meat of any animal killed by hunting, but now usually means deer meat. #food #foodsky #homecooking

Add "for Tax Purposes" to a movie: Saving Private Ryan for Tax Purposes

Sophie Dahl describes this as 'Peasant soup'. Made of vegetables and beans, you could easily imagine medieval peasants eating something similar. Served with homemade cheese and spring onion bread buns. #food #foodsky #soup #bread

Lunch today was a take on poached eggs on toast by Sophie Dahl. However the toast is replaced with portobello mushrooms which gave a lovely meaty taste to them. #food #foodsky ##goodlunch

Keeping watch #cat #catsofbluesky

Play time #cat #catsofbluesky

I love the way Busted referenced the 'Back to the Future' films in this song, and then McFly went on to name themselves after the main character. #music #Busted #00s #pop

Gone, but not forgotten.

This is Sophie Dahl's homage to her nanny Maureen who used to make soup for Sophie whenever she was ill. Spinach and barley soup. Served with cheesy soda bread. #food #foodsky #goodlunch #soup
