I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

12 years ago, I moved to Seattle and started working my "dream" job. 🍄 While I don't work there anymore, it led to some of the best moments of my life and the best friends a guy could ask for. Just a reminder that even your "dream" workplace can toss you aside, as many others have in gaming.

Woke up this morning thinking about animated short films. Shows like Kablam, Liquid Television, and What A Cartoon were an early intro into the many different styles that can be used in animation. In college, I found The Animation Show DVDs which inspired me to major in animation.

After moving to Seattle and landing a "dream job", things took an interesting turn, but it was always awkward explaining my bachelor's degree in animation and VFX that was gathering dust. I feel like I've lost a lot of the creativity I had in college, but then I watch a new animated movie or short.

Especially with the rise of AI tools, there's never been a more important time to pick up a pen or boot up Blender and create. Create literally anything. Everyone has the capability to create. It's beautiful. Why would we (I) give that up?

Despite having teachers who previously worked at DreamWorks and Warner Bros., my animation career post graduation never took off. I made a few short animations and projects on my own but nothing that expanded my demo reel.

I'm glad BTAS understood that Joker is most fun when he's deeply petty. His best stories are rarely "tries to destroy Gotham" but rather "gets mad that someone cut him off in traffic" or "wants to copyright fish" or "bombed during stand-up" or "a casino stole his likeness."
