These sculptures by Alberto Giacometti I saw in the Tate Modern Art Museum in London were so inspiring! #sculpture #blackandwhite #tatemodern

Oh no. The people who buy up property and contribute to high housing prices for “passive income” have to do some labor. Sooooooo sad for them

Airbnb hosts are melting down over a new policy banning them from making guests complete tasks that “would typically be performed by a cleaner,” like “stripping the bed, taking trash offsite, or washing and putting away dishes.” Read the full story: buff.ly/GHU32S5

Got to check out the new bike facilities on Willamette Blvd and they’re amazing. Traffic calming is working well too. I saw people going the speed limit for the first time ever as a cyclist. Great job @pbotinfo.bsky.social! Keep it up!

I could see this same headline being used about boomers complaining about socialism, but obviously The Journal is just fear mongering about young people wanting everyone to be housed and fed and have healthcare 🙃

I hope that regulators see this from Anthropic and require it from all AI text/image generation. It's important to be able to tell what's written by a human especially for things like school essays or legal work.

Not to say that AI doesn't have any problems, but I think this is a step in the right direction as we're working toward controlling this new tool that was unleashed into the world.

They are using a semi-random function when trivial choices are made i.e. substituting one word for something equivalent instead of a truly random one. This is cool to me because it means that this text can be detected and not easily manipulated to remove the watermark.

Hope everyone had an amazing time at #defcon34! I met so many cool people and learned so much. My biggest takeaway was that in many companies citizen developers outnumber named company developers by 4 to 1 in modern environments due to the proliferation of AI tooling to create code.

Security teams should work on creating 'paved roads' for citizen developers to work on to protect company resources while empowering teams to create custom apps.

I was looking at my settings on my iPhone Air after almost a year and my battery is still 100%. It lasts long enough for my use case and I love the thinness and lightness still

I had a late night epiphany. Count von Count from Sesame Street is a gay icon. Camp outfits, vampiric, and his first appearance on the show was in 1972 with Bert and Ernie

With all the VW electrification and Y2K nostalgia, I personally feel like it’s time for the Electric VW Bug. Just imagine one in a pink Hello Kitty wrap 👀👀🔥

I just realized that VOCs [volatile organic compounds] are responsible for both delicious tastes in coffee and the bad smell of paint — assumably different VOCs #science

I don’t understand what people get out of posting AI animal videos. I like videos of like a cat cuddling with a dog or something similar, but I think what’s special about it is that you can’t control what animals do and you captured a special moment. 1/2

If you can direct what happens in the video, what’s the point? Especially people who post them here on Bluesky where no one gets paid to post content. Whyyyy?! 2/2
