@zachosterman.bsky.social You mentioned being at Crafters this week on the pod. Can you share details on that event? Couldn't find any info online.
My wife in elementary ed also explained this well. We recognize kids at one end of the distribution need special services and support. It follows that kids at the other end are just as differentiated and need specialized services as well.
My wife is an elementary gifted ed specialist. The idea that gifted kids either don't exist or don't benefit from gifted education services is both wrong and harmful to those kids. Phasing out gifted programs is stupid. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/02/n...

Indiana Football spent months being chided for not beating an AP top 25 team, then three weeks into the season you watch an AP voter put winless Notre Dame at 14 and you realize how silly this whole exercise is.
My new AP Top25 ballot. My Top 5: Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Miami & Oregon. New on my ballot this week: Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech & Alabama www.on3.com/news/brett-m...
Definitely Last Judge took me longest thus far. But what's great about Silksong, and HK before, the patterns are all there to be learned. My only issues are 1) optimal distance often results with the boss being off screen. 2) hit boxes can be weird, taking hits I shouldn't and not landing my hit.
Silksong is much harder than Hollow Knight (which was already pretty tough!). I wonder how many people will bounce off a certain boss in front of a door with bells

it is always worth remembering that vance made a conscious decision to be a person of low character. he has eagerly contorted himself into evil for the sake of what amounts to a whiff of power.
This is an actual exchange from a VP who took an oath to defend the constitution and, as a citizen, is expected to abide by the law. May we one day have accountability for the grotesque lawlessness of this regime.
@ckunzelman.bsky.social Got him!
@edsbs.bsky.social just starting the crossword today but I feel really confident about this one
Heck yeah Boston! I'd be thrilled to see them get their first gold. Tight scores across the board. Been a few years since we've had so many slots still competitive. Saturday night is going to be a lot of fun.

A week after a statement claiming leadership needed to change so the game could be delivered ASAP, Krafton has delayed Subnautica 2 to 2026 to add more content. Which is not a thing precluded by going to Early Access! But it does mean they avoid a $250MM payout promised to the dev team. This sucks!
BREAKING: Krafton has delayed the highly anticipated game Subnautica 2 to 2026, potentially costing the development team a $250 million bonus. The studio's leadership had wanted to release the game this year but were ousted by Krafton last week. A wild story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Okay you gave the Times your ten best movies of the century, but what about your ten best ALBUMS, hmm? Hit me with that shit.
Fuck. The leadership team of Unknown Worlds is removed from the studio they founded because the parent company wanted to monetize Subnautica 2 as quickly as possible. One of those games I wish I could experience for the first time all over again and now the sequel is being gutted. What a disgrace.
Krafton announces that Steve Papoutsis (currently CEO for Striking Distance Studios) is appointed CEO of Unknown Worlds (Subnautica 2). "Papoutsis replaces the previous leadership team—Ted Gill, Charlie Cleveland, and Max McGuire—effective immediately." krafton.com/en/news/pres...
