Happy Juneteenth. We can honor the people who have fought for freedom and justice by learning from them and remembering their history.

I haven't followed this case closely and haven't read the Third Circuit's opinion. Lots of people are mad about what the administration is doing here. Me too. But a few people are saying stuff like this about the judges on the Third Circuit panel, and I believe they're wrong. Fascists they ain't.

Again I don't know this case, but I am knowledgeable about the three judges on the panel, and I would encourage you to be deeply skeptical of anyone telling you that this is a lawless court hellbent on promoting fascism.

I have no idea whether, upon examination, I'd think this ruling is legally correct or not. I have a clear idea that it was decided by real judges.
