This is the kind of AI search data I'd actually use. It comes from Bing's own queries instead of made-up prompts run through a tracker that lacks multiple layers of personalisation. Microsoft even says to treat the numbers as directional, which is more honest than most AI visibility dashboards.

Each hop impacts load time and leaks a little link equity. A backlink you cannot control is one thing but an internal link is under your control.

Crawl the site with Screaming Frog, filter internal links by 3xx status, and export the source pages. Update each link to the destination URL.

Product renames, category tidies and URL change leaves old links behind, and each one now passes through a 301 before it resolves. Add migrations into the mix and some links hop multiple times.

Before you adopt the next tactic everyone's hyping, ask what problem it actually solves for your customer. If you can't answer that, it's noise, not marketing.

Cheap hosting is one of the most expensive savings you can make. A slow server ruins your page speed, which hurts both rankings and conversions. Before you optimise anything else, check what you're paying for: uptime, speed, and support beat a few quid saved every time.

Measure repeat behaviour alongside conversion rates. A site that converts once and never again is wasteful. Fix the whole customer journey, not just the checkout.

The best eCommerce content doesn't look like marketing; it answers questions, solves problems and entertains the exact audience the store serves. Study who your audience actually is before you brief a single piece.

The data has no predictive value. No benchmark meaning. You cannot act on it, improve from it, or diagnose anything with it. It is a number for the sake of a number.

If you want to influence what AI says about your brand, focus on being genuinely cited, linked to, and discussed on the open web. That is SEO. It has always been SEO.

AI search results are personalised. What ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini tells one person is not what they tell another. The answer changes based on location, history, phrasing, and context.

So when a tool claims to measure your AI "visibility" by running a handful of sample queries each week, what exactly is it measuring? A non-repeatable snapshot that no real customer is seeing.

A list of 100,000 subscribers who don't open your emails is not an asset. It's a deliverability problem. Every send to someone who ignores you trains inbox providers that your emails are not worth delivering.

List quality beats list size, every time. Segment, suppress, and prune ruthlessly. The smaller, more engaged list will generate better results, better open rates, and better revenue than the bloated one ever will.

You hired a marketing agency or team because you needed expertise. Then you approved every email, questioned every tactic, and wondered why the results were average. Let them work. That is what you paid for.

Most people try to do SEO before they have an SEO strategy. Those are not the same thing. A strategy sets the goals, the priority order, and the metrics first. Then the tactics follow. Without that, you're just running tasks.

Making your website "agent-ready" is not a new speciality. It is technical SEO applied to a new class of crawler. robots.txt, structured data, response times, page structure. You were already doing this. Keep doing it well.

If every ChatGPT interaction counted as a search, it’d still only equal about 0.25-0.5% of Google’s size. I’ve heard a lot of talk lately about “GEO” replacing SEO. It's simply not true - GEO IS SEO. ChatGPT isn’t replacing Google. GEO is just SEO. Search remains overwhelmingly dominant.

🤯 Have you ever experienced a tough website migration? It can be a nightmare, and even perfect migrations can result in performance issues. I'd love to hear some horror stories in the comments!

With a simple touch, you can turn your #eCommerce customers into lifelong brand advocates by including a handwritten thank-you note with every order. It shows genuine appreciation for their trust and turns a transaction into a memorable experience. Gratitude builds loyalty! 🤝✨

I received a sweet surprise today! 🎄 My little boy, Leo, and our soon-to-arrive baby 'P' (thanks to my awesome wife) had a Christmas tree delivered to my office. Feeling the love! Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season full of little surprises. Happy holidays! 🌟

I'm seeing a lot of corner-cutting lately. True success in #SEO comes from embracing the hard path—consistency and dedication. Test everything. Following a solid process is crucial as SEO evolves, especially with AI. Shortcuts might save time but often result in problems later down the line.

⚠️ Don't block CSS/JS in robots.txt! It hinders search engines from understanding your site and can damage rankings. We advised a client to unblock them which caused traffic to 5x from 358k to 1.9m in under a year. I have spare characters, so here are some hashtags #seo #searchengineoptimization

⁉️ #eCommerce tip: Improve conversion rates by tapping into Amazon's Q&As. They're a goldmine for uncovering what your potential customers are curious about. Use them to understand their needs, challenges, annoyances, and aspirations to help you create better product descriptions.

You are up to date.
