#JustListened This was my first time with The Fierce And The Dead, the band of @mattstevensloop.bsky.social, and it was not something I had expected. Their style seems to alternate and mix alternative Rock and Psychedelic Metal; not a combination I would have expected to work as well as this!

Our new album, is out today. hypeddit.com/thefiercethe...

It’s Bandcamp Friday, our album is out next Friday, preorder today and Bandcamp doesn’t charge a fee. If you order today it massively helps us out. Get in: thefierceandthedead.bandcamp.com/album/region...

The story so far

"The Fierce and the Dead always set themselves high musical standards and they have exceeded them on ‘Regional Theatre’." Thanks Get Ready To Rock getreadytorock.me.uk/blog/2026/08...

It might be a track that’ll divide fan opinion, and yet it still isn’t ‘Regional Theatre’s most bold move, musically speaking… Those who like ‘Somehow’ will love it. Thanks @realgonerocks.bsky.social www.realgonerocks.com/2026/08/list...

Our new song is up on YouTube :) I'm really pleased with this one - The Fierce And The Dead - Somehow youtu.be/NEziBOUkzoU?... via @YouTube

It’s Bandcamp Friday, where all the money goes to the band and Bandcamp waives their fees. If you are thinking of preordering the new album (or buying the back catalogue) now would be a great day thefierceandthedead.bandcamp.com/album/region...

Its really hard doing PR for records now. The blog scene seems to have gone. Thoughts?

Me and my friends made this - new video of The Fierce And The Dead - lots of dicking about with old computer games and big riffs youtu.be/vjxAGmfOLsw?...

Shake Hands And Exit is a song that is a bit sneaky. It tells you that everything is cool and froody, before offering a series of prog metal explosions that tell a different story. www.herecomestheflood.com/2026/07/the-... @mattstevensloop.bsky.social #tfatd #music #review

The new Fierce And The Dead single is out today, give it a stream and make an aging nerd happy. open.spotify.com/playlist/3I3...

The noisy bastard rock band I play in has some new music out today - should wake you up on a Friday youtu.be/Ytp9R96MgVY?...

The Fierce & The Dead delve into hard-hitting psychedelic and stonerrock on their new single The 1234, their first new studio release since 2023. Its message is plain and simple: playing music may have saved their lifes. www.herecomestheflood.com/2026/06/the-... @mattstevensloop.bsky.social #tfatd

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s ordered the digital box set and for all the positive messages about the bonus track and essay. It really means a lot to all of us. You can still order it from: thefierceandthedead.bandcamp.com/.../complete...
