It’s worth remembering that while Tampa Bay was the best team in the American League, the American League wasn’t that good

Also got this Eddie Cicotte print from @sabrbbcards.bsky.social award winner Gary Cieradkowski

A card I’ve wanted for years, possibly the best All-Star Rookie @sabrbbcards.bsky.social @heavyjstudios.bsky.social @spoart.bsky.social

This is a very strong point. Wonder if the “play the game the old school way” color commentator will have anything to say about it tomorrow

That’s an out every time but when Cash is desperate, he makes it tough to root for this team with his silly challenges

This is also why I support protestors burning things, apparently being annoyed at things for a couple months and then forgetting about them doesn’t change anything

I am a member of Gen X, if you want proof as to why you should never take advice from Gen X I point to the simple fact that we were so unwilling to put effort into things that I still have to pay Ticketmaster fees in 2026

Couple new ones for the collection, two legends on the game #cardsky

Why was this game not played this afternoon when there was no rain?

Trying to enjoy the game but can’t stop focusing on the dude in the front row wearing the oversized novelty hat (above the dugout). What level of self centered do you have o be to get front row tickets and needlessly block other line of site?

Bellinger wants in on the act so badly, that ball bounced like 4 times

I’d just like to say, I’d ignore text messages from Jim Palmer every day all day

If anyone ever asked me what someone meant by the “depth” of an off speed pitch I’d show them Rasmussen’s changeup tonight.

Regardless of how you feel about the teams, you have to love watching a game with a live organist

Is anyone going to tell Peacock they are playing a song over the game

Starting the postseason with some baseball mail, what was listed as a team issued Jordan Westburg bat (according to the store its game used but they couldn’t confirm the game) and a print of the scoreboard on a famous night at Dodger Stadium

This is the oddest sentence I have ever written. I caught this.

Gunnar Henderson solo HR (24)

As I sit in the left field bleachers and watch two teams that will amount to nothing play, I can’t help but think about how baseball is the best and how much I will miss this horrible team all winter

Love that Kevin Brown is so honest, just openly calling a review that went for the Os a bad call

Third strike on accidental challenge is the most 2026 Orioles thing ever. Cant consistently do well so why not mistakenly do well

I feel like this series is a reminder to the fans and team that this is not a playoff team. The Yankees are great, but they are way ahead of the Orioles

With the Orioles, while completely underserving of one, now tied for a playoff spot I am completely prepared for the inevitable “put your deposit down on playoff tickets” email tomorrow

If you ever want to see some amazing research make sure you follow Mr Albertson and @justmckinney.bsky.social they post threads weekly that are just so impressive

That Giants kid is great! @spoart.bsky.social @sabrbbcards.bsky.social

Watched the Brewers game rather than the Os, saw Vaughn pull his hands in to single the other way in a big moment made me think, when’s the last time we saw that from an Oriole? The whole lineup seems to just try to force their will on the game.

Baseball sky last night at Nats Park, and up close to see Elly.

Treat myself day, I think im going to get more game used balls. Also huge tip of the cap to the woman here with her office who bought cotton candy for the whole camp sitting in the section

While I usually find those lists silly, any list of thrillers that has three @blacktopkid.bsky.social books on it has to be doing something right

Best Bone villain, wrong answers only

Logically I can see trading Adley, Elias and owners are operating under the assumption that there are no games in 2027. As a fan however I don’t think they have any understanding of how much it will hurt to see him go

As an Orioles fan I love the lead, but I’m honestly more happy for Gunnar. Dude is so happy he may be crying tears of joy at 3rd

Baseball sky

I thought Kevin snd Ben were joking about it being in Taveras’s glove for a moment

@spoart.bsky.social @sabrbbcards.bsky.social two of the most underrated players from two of the best sets Topps ever put out (at least in my book). Carew is also my all time favorite batting stance to imitate

It’s becoming painfully obvious that I’m going to have to start eating better and working out more if I ever want to see the Orioles win a World Series

The view from my office, not too shabby

Listening tonight, with these two guests this can’t be anything but amazing

To the great Garfield Sobers, a man that people much more knowledgeable than me have called the greatest man to ever play the game

My favorite Frank Robinson card, don’t think the 59 Topps is the most popular set but I love it #cardsky

Not sure cockney is the correct term but otherwise see no lies

Is there a better moment as a sports fan than walking through a hallway and seeing your first peak of the ballfield?

If I’m the FA I’m on the phone to FiFA immediately, “so we understand that red cards don’t mean a suspension. When will you announce Quansah is eligible to play the next round?”
