I don't know if he'll ultimately become a legend at Liverpool or not, but Florian Wirtz is feeding generations of simpleton pundits and clout-chasing content creators out here. At this rate, he may actually end world hunger. Maybe even bring about world peace.

Every week it’s a new player’s turn to catch smoke. It oscillates between Mac Allister, then Wirtz, then Kerkez, and this week it’s Szoboszlai. This shit is exhausting and people seem to have the memory and attention spans of a goldfish. I need to go outside and eat grass or something.

Cannot wait for Richard Hughes' tenure at LFC to be over. What has he done this summer? 1) Sign Munoz via a release clause. 2) Sign a CB Barca couldn't wait to be rid of (not a bad move, just easier deal) 3) Sold Curtis Jones. We are thinner than we were last year. But what did we expect from FSG?

If Liverpool are not going to bring in defenders OR midfielders (because apparently neither of them are a priority) this window, then what the fuck has Richard Hughes been doing for the past 2 months? Work to bring in one transfer?! FSG really are letting the club drift.

For most of the WC, France has had everyone playing the game the way they wanted them to. Timid (not without reason tho), defensive, and deferential. Spain played the only way they know how, on the front foot no matter who the opponent was. France had no backup plan.

FSG is the epitome of the “we have X at home” meme. “We have a pacey winger at home”; get home and it’s Gakpo. “We have a centerback pairing at home”; get home and it’s Tsimikas and Gravenberch. “We have a versatile attacker at home”; get home and it’s Joe Gomez.
