Today's read The Executioner & Enchantress exit stage left. Val totes her dead father to Cobbler's Roost. The Thing, Nighthawk, and Strange follow, chancing upon Nameless One cultists. Ultimately, Bashful Benjy blows the harmonica and sets things right. Next issue: the Headmen!

Today's read Part 2 has Ben & Val looking for Alvin Denton and the harmonica of Destiny. Enchantress & Executioner want it as well for nefarious purposes. Val would like to know who she is, and finds a measure of peace learning that Alvin is her father. The world explodes & reconstitutes.

Today's read Steve Gerber's arrival on Defenders 20 sent me back to his two-part MTIO story for Val backstory. Part 1 doesn't have Val but does have Strange, a Gerber metaphysical script that zips along, a Starlin cover, and Tuska art. The cover's wolf head has nothing to do with the story.. yet?
