I remember hearing about the protests starting up over the station accident two years ago. It’s amazing how much you can accomplish when you care about one another.

While it may seem unnecessary to many of you, today seems like a good day to remind everyone that Trans Rights Are Human Rights and the trans community will always have my axe.

For some reason, the cold weather always makes my anxiety spike. I have to be huddled against a heater or under a hundred blankets or I become a nervous wreck. Hoping I can find a better financial situation so I can keep the heat up all the time.

We're at the stage of capitalism & anti-communism where when the news tries to do sinophobia we just get excited about government mortgage subsidies and that NINE OUT OF EVERY TEN FAMILIES IN CHINA OWN THEIR OWN HOMES

A Twitch Browser Extension exposed 30,000 users' OAuth tokens to a Russian bot service. The extension promised to block Twitch ads, force 1080p, and auto-collect channel points. Users: Remove the Chrome/Firefox extension, then disconnect all sessions + reauthenticate. socket.dev/blog/malicio...

Social media has been subconsciously training me to feel like every little thing I come across requires my input. I need to come to grips with the concept that I can just leave things alone. I can look at things and read things and not feel the need to respond or react.

Anyways I think it's funny how I'll let all kinds of bad shit happen to me and it's fine but god forbid if I do anything bad or wrong I can never forgive myself.

Went on a walk on Labor Day. One of the guys in my neighborhood was out working in his yard with his dog, whom I've met before on walks. It started barking at me, but he reassured me it was friendly. Within seconds it was perched on the fence with its jaw wrapped around my arm.

The owner was in total shock, but for some reason I was incredibly calm and forgiving about it. I kept having to assure him that it was totally fine but I could tell he wasn't having it. Teeth didn't break the skin directly but they dented very deep and scraped my arm enough to bleed a little.

Arm's still pretty bruised but no infection. I did get vaccination records just to be safe, but I'm still gonna have to go back next week to make sure that dog's still alive.

Ruby Bridges was 6-years-old when she stepped into the history books. Bravely accompanied by her mother, she was the first Black child to desegregate an all-white school in the South. It was not long ago… Today is her birthday. She is still with us. She is 72. Happy birthday, Ruby Bridges 💜

Since my last outburst, I’ve been logging my emotional state three times a day (How We Feel app) and I’m interested in seeing what it’ll look like a year from now. It’s early but there’s some patterns emerging.

I understand now why some people vague post when they’re feeling down. I feel like my touch is corrosive, I can’t talk to anyone or have any sort of interaction until the wave passes.

Feeling a bit more optimistic now. I would like to spend more time in therapy before I return to group chatting, but I don’t feel like I have to hide away anymore.

I’ve got a name for the behavioral issue, uncovered more examples of it from my childhood, and spent a little time exploring all the different contributing factors.

I think maybe in my quest to be less cynical, I forgot that I still need an outlet for my anger. I don't wanna burden anyone with that but I guess that's what you pay a therapist for. Better than having a moment in public.

This combined with my attention-seeking behavior (which is a wholly separate issue I won't get into) seems to be what's causing me to break. So if I'm going to return, I have to do two things: Seek help for the unmentionable issues. Find and attend an anger management program.

I've always viewed anger management through the lens of cartoons: some guy's constantly berating others, physically violent, red in the face and veins bulging from their forehead. I think this hyperbole has been keeping me from a potential resource that I've been needing for years.

This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money She's become so stiflingly powerful that even private docs arent safe
