Unironically how so much of LostLab and ToonTown was developed earlier on, before that it was only a very basic shell of an idea with about 1/6th of the character it has now.

I've tried getting back into it as a way to continue developing LostLab and it's, characters (especially newer characters who are less developed) but as time has gone on I switched to more normal writing styles, and now mostly only write for myself, including working on an early version of a book.

But when I did do it? It was fun as hell, helped me develop so many new characters and the worlds of LostLab and ToonTown, helped me to become friends with someone really cool, and also helped me more with getting into character to write characters or do voice over.

was Buton becoming the main antagonist and being written how they are now, because while they existed BEFORE I did roleplay stuff, they were entirely different and very underutilized in any roleplay, only more recently (in the last 2 years) did Buton become who they are now.

Also yeah recent meaning 2 years because I did the long-term roleplay stuff from like, 13yo to early 16yo, and by 17 had already stopped due to lack of interest. I also met quite a few friends through that earlier roleplay, including one who I'm still friends with now and who helps me with LostLab!

Like y'all don't understand just how much of LostLab stemmed from fucking long-term roleplays - All of OilRig's characterization and modern design, along with every other character's modern characterization - A lot of earlier lore that was iterated on and eventually became the modern LostLab lore.

- A TON OF CHARACTERS, so many that it's easier to list off the one's who existed BEFORE DOING ROLEPLAY. Those being; Tortie, Red, Cami, Cubi, Springwell, Fo, Barista Flyer, Bob, and a very early very different version of Buton. The only major thing that didn't happen / change because of roleplay

#toxinfest Oh also I guess this counts? This in concept art from a few weeks ago of a Boss Blot for a DnD campaign (and also just for ToonTown as a whole) that was inspired by Phi! I have a LOT of Blotlings inspired by other characters, so this isn't a unique concept in that regard, but I (1/2)

Also for extra context to this Boss Blot, they are similar to the Slobber but more focused on the mouth aspect and less on the strong aspect. They swallow up other smaller Blotlings to spit out (different kinds of Blots spit out differently) and try more to chomp down on the player. They are (1/2)

defeated much in the same way as a Slobber, shooting Thinner into one of the mouths when it opens up and sucks in, but you need to get each mouth at least once to defeat it, and it still can use other mouths after they've been hit with Thinner or Paint. Like the Slobber, it can be befriended. (2/2)

Still felt like sharing it instead of keeping it to myself like the rest of the unreleased concept art, since it is somewhat directly connected to Phi! There is also the possibility of a "Blotted Phi" since Phi already exists in ToonTown, and Toons can be blotted, but this isn't directly Phi. (2/2)
