3. Arakan (present day Rakhine St., western Myanmar) was a trading region. Arakan's Mrauk-U (1430–1785) Kingdom produced gold & silver coins, with Persian & other writing, some including Islamic inscriptions. Such coinage appears as Rohingya political symbols. photo: @mdjamal.bsky.social

August 25 marks another year since the Rohingya were forced to flee our homeland, Arakan, after enduring genocide, persecution, and unimaginable suffering. Nine years have passed, yet the pain remains. From the refugee camps of Bangladesh,

It has been 9 years since we, the Rohingya, fled to Bangladesh to save our lives after facing genocide, persecution, and violence in Myanmar. 9 years have passed, but our suffering has not ended. We escaped the violence, but we have not escaped displacement.

Through My Lens 📷 On #WorldPhotographyDay, I use my camera to document everyday life in the Rohingya camps the struggles and the resilience. Sometimes fire rises and homes are lost. Sometimes water rises and lives are threatened. Yet, amid it all, people continue to live, dream,

For days, relentless rain has turned parts of the Rohingya camp into flooded pathways and rising waters. Yet, amid the hardship, children gather by the water and cast their nets, finding small moments of life and hope in difficult circumstances. A quiet scene of resilience

#InternationalYouthDay 2026 🌍 We, Rohingya youth, stand together with courage, unity, and hope. Our dreams are bigger than displacement, and our voices will continue to call for justice, dignity, peace, and a brighter future for all. ✊🏽❤️🕊️ #Rohingya #RohingyaYouth #YouthDay #Justice #Hope

5 August – Rohingya Black Day Today, we remember the lives lost, the families displaced, and the suffering the Rohingya people have endured. Our pain has not ended, and our hope for justice, dignity, and a safe return to our homeland remains alive. We remember. We will not forget.

Monsoon rains are once again devastating the Rohingya camps. Flooded shelters, blocked roads, and deadly landslides have left families struggling for food, safety, and shelter. Yet even in rising floodwaters, some are fishing just to survive. Resilience should never replace dignity and protection

Monsoon rains have turned the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar into a humanitarian emergency. Floods and landslides continue to threaten lives. A devastating landslide struck a girls' madrasa, killing students and a teacher, while thousands of families remain at risk in fragile shelters.

Heavy rainfall has caused severe flooding across the Rohingya refugee camps, leaving many families struggling to protect their homes and belongings. Flooded shelters, damaged pathways, and unsafe conditions are making daily life even more difficult for those already living in hardship.

Heavy rains have flooded parts of the Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh. Tragically, two children lost their lives as water levels rose. The Rohingya continue to face danger and hardship with every monsoon season. They need protection, safety, and continued humanitarian support

Every heartbreaking update from #Myanmar brings more fear to the Refugee camps. One question echoes in every heart: How many more wars must we endure before we can finally return home in peace?

For many years, the Rohingya people have endured unimaginable suffering, loss, and uncertainty. Their pain carries the weight of countless untold stories, yet their courage and hope continue to shine through even the darkest times

World Refugee Day 2026 Refugee camp we have lived in limbo stateless, voiceless, and forgotten. We are tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of being called refugees. Tired of growing up without a homeland. How much longer do we have to live this life? We want a future with dignity. We want justice.

Happy Father’s Day to the brave and loving fathers of the Rohingya community. Your courage, sacrifices, and endless love for your families are a symbol of strength and hope. Today we honor the silent heroes who continue to dream of a better future for their children. With respect and solidarity.

Food aid cuts are pushing Rohingya families in the refugee camps deeper into hunger and uncertainty. Meanwhile, Rohingya in Myanmar continue to face persecution, fear, and denial of basic human rights. The world must not turn away from this ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Under the heavy clouds of Bangladesh, Rohingya families continue to survive in fragile shelters built from pain, resilience, and hope. Every roof tells a story of displacement, survival, and the dream of returning home one day. #Rohingya #Refugees #Bangladesh #CoxsBazar #Humanity #RefugeeCamp

The Rohingya camps are suffering under extreme heat, and the water shortage is making life even harder. Clean water is limited, and many families are struggling just to meet their basic needs.

A father waits where hope meets heartbreak. Since Mohammad Ullah vanished into the #Andaman Sea, every night is a vigil, every silence a wound. He is not a number, not a story he is a son, still loved, still awaited. #Justice #Rohingya #MissingAtSea

A simple sign says, We want to go home, but behind it lies years of exile and uncertainty. In Cox’s Bazar, food cuts by the World Food Programme are deepening hardship. In Malaysia, many risk everything at sea, only to face insecurity again.
