The Constitution prevents the U.S. Government from forcing a YouTube to air its content. YouTube can ban #TrumpTV. (Moody v NetChoice) If not, YouTube is complicit in the establishment of a state-run fascist propaganda channel.

Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway. To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back. Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.

Those journalists exposed Trump’s ineffectual leadership. Removing dissenters was an obvious step toward fascist dictator territory. Establishing his own state-run media channel is another step in the direction of fascism. Trump TV will undoubtedly have a lot in common with North Korean TV.

YouTube, you have an obligation to ban that mother fucker.

To evict dissenting journalists from the White House was a blow to our long-standing free press system. I commend the media companies who stood together and withdrew in solidarity. The boycott was step 1 of correcting this fascist maneuver. Step 2 is denying Trump access to other platforms.

Around 2010, a fire was really catching and spread quickly. This was a brand new market in the economy. What was being sold? Our eyes. Apps shifted their design to maximize the duration in which we were willing to scroll to put as many ads in front of us as possible. This destroyed my brain. 1/

I began to feel depressed in 2013. Burned out. Unable to enjoy the things that used to bring me pleasure. Did my reward system get fried by smart phone addiction? I don’t know. But I do know I’ve fallen into a trap where I doomscroll to feel rewarded. And I’m done.

When selling a home, we need to normalize a cash credit to the buyer to indemnify the seller of any lingering guilt. Every time I’ve purchased a home, I’ve cursed the previous owners for this or that; an abhorrent p-trap, fucked-up floor joists, an absolute ass drywall patch.

2016- I bought a house in Irving, TX. A few weeks later, the sellers sent a check in the mail. They explained that the tub always drained slowly and they suspected improper sewer plumbing. They didn’t want it to be a long-term problem that made us regret our purchase right away.

This is the kind of altruism that needs to be standardized in the market. I got under the house and did a proper job of connecting PVC to cast iron. The check they sent prevented me from thinking they had dumped a problem house on me. XOXO to those sellers and their conscientious gift.
