I’m absolutely certain all these stars stayed where we did in Hollywood. It’s named the Legend Hotel, after all. Even if there were a few apparent junkies and whores stumbling around the surrounding blocks.

A day in LA at the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art and the Pantages Theater for a fab performance of “The Outsiders” has provided all the big-city fix I’ll need for a while.

Think for a minute. It'll come to you.

Don't panic about AI. Demand that Congress create an Artificial Intelligence Commission to regulate it, as other dangerous technologies have been dealt with in the past. Along the way, educate yourself about AI via authoritative sources like the @thebulletin.org. thebulletin.org/the-ai-power...

There’s a reason Dr. King's historic August 28, 1963 rally was called “The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.” As he warned the nation, "We all too often have socialism for the rich and rugged free market capitalism for the poor." Real freedom requires economic freedom for all.

And what do you want to bet on the probability of a change in the "federal investigation for alleged tax fraud by other companies tied to the billionaire (Walter)," now that he's sold the Lakers to a Kushner? .https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/49590362/josh-kushner-bob-iger-buy-lakers-12b

espn.comSources: Josh Kushner, Bob Iger to buy Lakers for $12BThe Lakers are being sold to American businessman Josh Kushner and Bob Iger for over $12 billion, a record-breaking price, multiple sources told ESPN.

Sources: Kushner, Iger to buy Lakers for $12.5B — wow, does this one smell. That ESPN didn’t say Josh Kushner is Jared’s brother is the absurd journalism fail of the year. At least. More TK.

I hope the @nytimes.com and other major media stop feeding the phony panic about progressive candidates. El-Sayed is a medical doctor and Rhodes scholar who says what he thinks, instead of spouting political operative mumbo-jumbo. He was the smarter, more authentic candidate. And that's why he won.

Agreed. “It’s time that the Democratic party’s mega-donor class recognizes that its real choice is between democracy and tyranny, between an economy that works for all or one that works for a small sliver at the top.” @robertreich.substack.com.web.brid.gy

This is very worth your time. Because Bernice Yeung is an extraordinary journalist.

New @thebulletin.org investigation out today by Bernice Yeung follows the on again, off again, and now very, very much on again love affair between Silicon Valley and the Defense Department

An entire Washington Post story on the smoke across the Midwest and northeast and not a mention of climate change. Pathetic “journalism.” Wildfire smoke will linger and spread this weekend. See which cities are most affected.

Not sure I like the messenger, but the message is worth listening to.

There’s been a lot of talk in this race about what makes a "real man." A man does what’s right when no one is watching. He upholds his commitments to his family and neighbors. He doesn’t lie, cheat, & steal his way through life. Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves.
