Aaaarghggggg!!! Well supposedly the new Mass Effect game in developement was titled Mass Effect Universe and supposedly a dev leaked the trailer & it was further along than we realized & HERE IT IS!!!!…supposedly. I’m off to go throw up and cry in a a corner now.

Anyone who knows me knows Mass Effect is my all time favorite game franchise. This saddens me…but I’ve felt like this was coming for a long time. I’d hoped I was wrong…but I expected it. BioWare will always be extremely special to me. I wish everyone there a prosperous next chapter in their journey

No spoilers, but the way Insomniac has reframed the (inevitable?) potential Wolverine, Jean, Cyclops love triangle I find very intriguing. It’s definitely a departure but it has me very curious about possible future implications in their planned X-men game

GUYS!!! Insomiac did what I’ve been begging developers to do for YEARS! You know how many times I miss a line of dialogue for some reason from a scene and wish I could replay it without restarting game/level or going to watch it on YouTube? Wolverine GOTY!!! Haha

Doing a New Game + run of Wolverine has been fun. In particular, now that I’ve already seen the story, many of the scenes and dialogue have different context for me (since I have answers) which has been interesting

For anyone playing Wolverine who might not know like I didn’t… The nightmare doors have narrative reasons for existing and also if you complete them all getting bronze or higher, another wood carving called “Best There Is” appears. Get bronze on it & there’s a semi-secret post credit type treat

In all of the Wolverine discourse I feel like something is seriously flying under the radar… Wolverine is probably the best looking console game I’ve ever seen at times. Like…holy hell it looks absolutely AMAZING during certain moments Just rolled credits & have thoughts but needed to get that out

Wolverine so far… Just got to Act 3. Man…I legit almost put this game down. Bumped difficulty down one & kept going. Now I’m having a MUCH better time. Combat has clicked more & enjoying (most) fights overall. There are some odd choices. At the moment feeling pretty positive overall

Wolverine VERY early impressions after a little over an hour. Maybe I suck at games but I put it on the difficulty just below the hardest & I’m NOT finding it easy. Yes, there’s a lot of square button. But I’m having to very much pay attention to parry, dodge, break shields, etc

Just rolled credits on Star Wars Zero Company. Man…that was easily one of the best Star Wars experiences I’ve ever had. Excellent game I couldn’t recommend highly enough. This is a crazy year for games but this is currently my personal GOTY
