RIP Bobby Prince. His music legacy will live on, making inspired music for Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, countless others. A true legend. And such a nice man, great musician, wonderful, fun-loving man, nothing but happy memories of him. A loss to the world.

The Void Is My Biggest Fan was published on my own terms as a rejection of platforms demanding an unsustainable amount of activity as algorithms dominate over human curation in the current age. I needed to prove I was allowed to focus on quality alone. I needed this. I can't continue, I am sorry.

On the YouTube platform, while the production quality is the highest it's been, the performance of my latest album is worse than my first ever uploads when I had 0 subscribers. Years of work to discover a brand new rock bottom. The internet is truely cooked. The void remains as my biggest fan.

I got into music production by listening to a ton of music. Enough for my own ideas to persistently start floating around in my head until I had to start getting those ideas down. And my production improved by how many times I'd see how well they translated from my head, to hearing them for real.

Child me was great with cartoon violence, horror, and gore. Doom, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil 2, so much fun! But even then, the hyper realistic dismemberment scene from Mars Attacks was too much. So sudden, along with the closeup of the finger as it sinks in the fish tank. Gave me nightmares 😂

All my life I've heard, "Limitations breed creativity", but I feel more like, limitations cap ambition. Being creative and able to think outside the box is nice n all, but sometimes you just wanna make the thing do the thing, without some workaround or compromise.

A render of mine I did in Blender of DDR arrows. I've been using it as my wallpaper since I made it in 2019, it's clear and vibrant yet doesn't camouflage your icons.

It's fascinating to me when something specific gets referred to in a derogatory way enough times for people to realise how useful it is to have a word for it, so it ends up becoming the established term. See the Noob Combo in Halo, or Brostep in the EDM scene. Boomer Shooter probably qualifies too.

Here's my complete collection of every European PS1 & PS2 Dancing Stage game. PS1 Fusion is semi-rare but is definitely not a good game. That and PS1 Fever were clearly low effort releases, completely inferior the absolute banger of a game Party Edition (DDR 4th Mix).
