Please watch the documentary Blue Zeus on Prime. It features Skydog Sanctuary - the people who documented the tragedy.
Every day, something gets my blood boiling.🤬 Thanks to Trump, thousands of wild horses have been rounded up with helicopters, packed into metal trailers, trucked hundreds of miles, and sold off to be slaughtered. And they're lying about it. Karma's running late. www.rawstory.com/wild-horses/

A #BlueskyLullaby for tonight: New York Vocal Collective today released this cover of Billy Joel's "And So It Goes." It's not particularly ambitious—unlike their arrangement of "Blackbird" a couple months back—but it's such a lovely song it's hard to pass up any decent version. See you around.

P.S. – Here's that "Blackbird," in case you missed it. bsky.app/profile/adam...
Well now here's something pretty spiffy. New out today from the New York Vocal Collective, a choral arrangement of Paul McCartney's "Blackbird." The first two and a half minutes are fine, but then it becomes…something else entirely. (You know the THX sound effect?) www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9ot...

Republicans keep peddling the claim that proving citizenship at the polls is not a big deal. But do Americans know it's not as simple as just showing a photo ID? 🪪 Here’s what you need to know: https://demdock.com/4gT3Glp
Millions may die as a result of lack of international medical aid funding, vaccine skepticism and ending medical research. Catastrophic decision that will last for decades. I couldn’t care less that he lost his job. First do no harm, doctor.
Looks like Cassidy sold American children down the drain to vote for RFK Jr. for nothing.
This administration isn’t for America or Americans. Again.
The U.S. Forest Service is closing 57 of its 77 research facilities in 31 states under a reorganization plan announced this week, threatening science that looked at how wildfires, drought, pests and global warming are putting pressure on forests. TAT: [Attacking science | Hollowing state]

“Which tracks 90+ cases in which either court determined the Trump administration submitted false information or the administration admitted it.” Unbelievable but not.
Jaw-dropping admission by DOJ to court. DOJ admits to having repeatedly made "material mistaken" representations to judge - ICE never had authority (under 2025 Guidance) to conduct arrests at immigration courthouses! DOJ admits court "relied on...prior misrepresentations." DOJ blames ICE (page 2)

Congress needs to defund the CDC. It has lost it’s way and is now actively causes death and disease. I’m saddened beyond belief at what has happened to our scientific expertise.
Hepatitis B vaccine has been studied for decades and has already been proven safe and effective. CDC will award $1.6M for seemingly unethical study to controversial Danish group to study this vaccine in spite of numerous objections from top virologists, scientists and the WHO.
Journalists need to ask every GOP senator and house member about this. Keep asking. I’d like to see anyone justify this display on White House property.
This is the most narcissistic, petty display ever. It’s so obvious Trump is unwell, but what I don’t get is how this is allowed to happen to the people’s house. He’s a temporary occupant. He doesn’t own the joint.
Listened to @maddow.bsky.social Burn Order today, frightening repetition of shameful US history.
Remember: We Currently have PRISON CAMPS....in the United States of America.
What? Can other sources verify?
The Mexican military was called in to remove the signs, at least 6 total, as the US culprits sat on the other side of the border watching, the incident occurred at Playa Bagdad in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. This comes at the foot of a failed US backed coup d’état attempt on November 15th.
@maddow.bsky.social show focusing on the positive response of America is much needed.

NEW: Paul Newby, a born-again Christian, has turned his perch atop North Carolina’s Supreme Court into an instrument of political power. Over two decades, he’s driven changes that have reverberated well beyond the borders of his state. By @dougbockclark.bsky.social
Intentionally false information is the hallmark of this administration
“We found over 35 cases in which the judges have specifically said what the government is providing…false information. It might be intentionally false information, including false sworn declarations time and again," says Ryan Goodman, law professor at New York University.
Worth the time.

Frightening. And the GOP Senators from low income states will probably vote to shaft their constituents.
Trump‘s budget bill would be the largest transfer of wealth in 40 years - from the poorest to the most wealthy. The CBO projects this budget would shift income from the poorest to the richest, with the bottom 10% losing around 4% of after-tax income, while high earners see a 2.3% gain.
